Those soaps are so pretty!! I've wanted to do soap making for a while but honestly kept getting intimidated by every tutorial I stumbled across on Pintrest, ahaha.

I haven't posted here in ages, goodness I've got some things to catch up on. Nowadays in Central PA it really depends where you go. Some towns are fantastic about mask usage, others don't care. Our cases have been steadily increasing and yesterday's numbers were pretty yikes. I'm kind of hoping...

Oh goodness I meant 15 chickens!! Lol just one coop for the 15 chickens. The chicks are coming by mail.

Definitely a mood. I've got 15 incoming, and hubby is concerned with the amount of eggs we would have come spring. But the chicken math is settling in... and I'm already thinking about turkeys... :P

That's super exciting!! I've been quietly following along with the tales of watermelon jerky and what dehydrators to get. It's so neat to see. Hubby and I are finishing the fall garden tomorrow, and I think I'm going to make shower melts this afternoon. After my exams are done next week, we're...

Ooh lovely!! I've done canning for jams/jellies before but never dehydrating, good to know. Maybe I'll ask for one for Christmas... 🤔

Lots of things have been getting done around here; prepping for chickens, getting sprinklers + proper drainage set up, redoing a bunch of old wiring, and we just finished planting all the berry plants in our garden. I'm almost worried about running out of time to get everything done, haha...

Oof, I think I accidentally took some of your EE bantams, then. I ordered mystery chickens off of MyPetChicken back in July because that was the only place selling chicks (all the TSCs around here stopped selling chicks and don't do fall chicks, apparently) and even then the soonest I could get...

Ugh, I understand why but that still sucks, I'm so sorry :( It's so hard to study for exams and keep up with everything going on. I just want to sink into the couch, drink some hot chocolate, and not wake up to a world on fire for once. At least my chicks get here in a month...

I've been trying to make up for lack of in person socialization by having lots of zoom calls with friends and family + weekly video gaming nights with some friends (over zoom once again) but I miss seeing people in person. It has been nice getting everything delivered though; major shoutout to...

Thanks y'all for the zucchini recipes! @SnapdragonQ I totally understand - my family is a gluten-free household (my little brother and I escaped the Celiac gene but everyone else in our family has it ). I wanna try making kimchi next year with whatever vegetables I can get from the...

Oh that's good to know, thanks! I made a brownie recipe that relied on the moisture from the zucchini to bind everything together so I assumed this recipe worked similarly. Zucchini pickles... :drool

Oof, do you have a go-to recipe for fritters? This was the recipe I used for the cookies: https://sallysbakingaddiction.com/zucchini-oatmeal-chocolate-chip-cookies/ I found that I needed to add an extra 1/4 cup of flour and you *really* need to blot the zucchini but your mileage may vary.

Used what's left of the zucchini to make these zucchini oatmeal chocolate chip cookies! Probably the most filling cookie I've ever made, haha - I'm stuffed after eating 2 of them.

Ooh congrats on finding them! I hadn't considered looking for cleaning supplies at gas stations, but I'll have to check the next time I go into town. Same here, but the stores increased their limits thankfully. Now it's 4 max of any individual product. It was rough trying to make things like...

We've got pretty much everything except Lysol wipes here in central PA, but my goodness is it all expensive. I went and bought a small container of sesame seeds and they were nearly 7 dollars for the small McCormick container. :th

Oh those look so good! :drool I found a recipe today for zucchini oatmeal chocolate chip cookies, and between those and using it as a filler for casserole I should be able to finish off what we currently have over the weekend.
