I'm sure that Matt1616 and sgribble can contact him for you too
OK I see you got the info I was just posting as I was catching up this morning
And yes I thing the Administrator...
I too get the cart before the horse(or worse try to pull the "wheel barrel" instead of push it) often, myself. I have to remember to step back and take breather regularly.
Jeff
Yep I do and I know they are just different too I don't have proof in numbers and stuffs other than the one fact is eye witnessing the differences, Scott. My problem is always timing I'm not ready when they are or vice versa. LOL
Jeff
Correct the Reese NHs she had by then weren't of breeding age in the time frame that Walt received this first bunch. I'm pretty sure that Jeremy is the first and only one to have crossed the GNH and Reese stock up to date, as far as I know. He used a GNH cockerel from Kathy and some Reese stock...
Ha I think the topic here is flexibility huh?LOL the latches are for the flexing ground and upright entryways are for the not so flexible joints LOL I get ya there I have learned to make things easily accessible and more convenient in my maturing years too. With time comes wisdom they say...
I like the barn I have been studying on how to do my roof like that when I re-roof it one of these days It would serve well here and to draft the barn better and add extra lighting. good design I like it everytime you post it on here.
Jeff
OOh Lual they are nice and sweet in about 2-3 more months they will be even more awesome when they fill out those lanky bodies. I have multiple breeds here and a bunch that are multi-breeds LOL and still yet out of all, the NH stand out head and shoulders above the rest(sorta like a sore thumb)...
American gamefowl or Phoenix would fill your bill completely here. or silkies but they don't lay very many 15 egg stints though, they'd rather just sit, too much work involved the other way
LOL
Jeff
Yeah its a balance thing you have to constantly be on top of like Fred said with whatever genes are lurking just beneath the skin on these composite types. A too long of a back you will get the leghorn/gamey type effects(traits) the short back the cochin effects(traits) so there is always a...
You are treading close to the sands of blasphemy here LOL I found out on here(the H thread) folk don't like the idea of one crossing these "h types' up for experimental reasons even if they're yours and you pay for the feed and do all the work, LOL
No you can't expect the outcomes to be the...
They do and are George. I liked my GNHs when I got them and still do but I'm really liking these ones alot. Like you said these are what NH are to be about. the pretty colors on the NHs is just an extra that came along with/from their development. IMO
Jeff
Hey those half an half Kansas x Missouri girls from Nebraska are doing good. Now that's what one could call versatile/ good for anywhere. Doing good here in the humid hot south too. I got to get pics, I got to get pics, I got, to get pics!
Nice Cindy as always and too

I know it I keep my biddies in a tub with hardware cloth over the top for that reason the most of my Mamas I have here that hatch out biddies can kick a black snakes rump to heck and back ;) so I don't worry too much about them too much, somemore of that survival of the fittest action...

I've also heard tale of strategically placing shedded snake skins out also to deter the varmints/crites. I don't know? I've not tried it but I'm going to start saving found ones and try it out though. This might work for good in the cool months while my exterminators are in...
My pest control agency(3 Catahoulas) won't allow such on the premises, they(cats) look akin and like too many critters the dogs love to devour and tear all to pieces(FUBAR). I tried it, and not worth the hassle(time) of trying to train them to leave the cats be. + I now have wild rabbits...
Yes I agree. Here I have Barred Rocks that don't roost and of course they just happen to be the ones that are the hardest I have here to get tails on in the first place and naturally the mice do eat their tails off here too. Its aggravation to the point I invite the snakes now here, blacksnakes...
You know I was just thinking of this same topic just yesterday about sorta like its destiny. Generally if its gonna hatch it'll hatch unless the process is completely botched(lots of variables here) but for example. High vigor is probly the most important in the eggs hatched event. Now to me...
