I have a batch of CX that will be going into tractor. I don't have time to do the 2 feedings per day at 20 minutes. Others say let them eat for 12 hours with unlimited feed. Is this best method or should I leave a calculated amount to get them thru half day then throw little feed in that...
Have my first 30 CX!!! They are 6 days old and almost everyone have already started developing the bald spots on bellies and back sides. Other than that growing fast and healthy. I started off with 31 down to 26. First few days had some weaklings i guess. Any thoughts on the bald spots

It sounds like the red watering nipples are the easiest, cheapest, cleanest watering option. I have one of the pvc feeders but really like the one I've seen with holes drilled in so they can eat out of pipe running parrelel to ground
