Canopykit watched the kits sadly, she had been born all by herself with no littermates so she didn't fully understand the loss of a sibling but she did understand loss of a loved one and she knew when the kits were a bit older they would look back on this day sadly

~Hawkclaw stared at Ashstripe from across camp, his affection for her suddenly unbearable. Ahhhhhhh!!!!! he screeched at himself and abruptly bolted down the stone path into the brightening valley.~

~Hawkclaw slowly waded into Bird Foot Lake and treaded water. He had always considered himself an excellent swimmer and was often complemented for it. If only I could go swimming or maybe hunting with Ashstripe someday... He heaved a sigh of many moons, miseries, and mooning that should have never even begun. Slowly, cautiously, Palepaw stalked the tribe cat. Getting slowly closer.

Star continues to walk through the territory, she didn't realize Palepaw was there because she had grown careless about hunting in Pineclan because she hadn't been confronted yet. (Sorry I didn't reply yesterday, I totally passed out opps)

Palepaw creeped along slowly, not taking any risks in where he put his paws. Then he spotted a frog, and froze, waiting for the she cat to see it.

Star caught scent of the frog and turned her head to see it hopping slowly across the ground. She smiles to herself as she launches herself on to prey and she kills it swiftly with a nip to it's back.

Palepaw leaped through the air, arching his back, tail streaming behind him. He landed squarely on the she cat's back and dug in his claws, shoving her to the ground. "What do you think you're doing" he snarled menacingly.

Star shrieked in shock, she tried to wiggle out of her attackers grip but she was smaller then him and she had no training in how to fight because she was just a Prey-Hunter To-be. She gave up on trying to escape and looked back at Palepaw with fear in her eyes "I-I just w-wanted a frog" she states, her voice trembles in fear and her mind had nothing but panicking thoughts.

Palepaw snorted. "If there aren't any frogs on your territory, then deal with it" he growled. "Why was it hard to say that?.." he thought silently. "This will be your only warning. The next time I see you you'll end up leaving a trail of blood back to your home" he growled, although his voice had lost it's original intensity.

"I can't help that there's no prey where the Tribe is" Star states softly, she's still obviously afraid. Star nods "Right, I understand" she whimpers before she runs away quickly, leaving behind the frog. I can't head back to the Tribe with out food and Fire will be angry that I got caught she thought as she slowed to a stop at the border, she didn't pass it she just sat down to think about how a way she won't get in trouble.

Star came to a conclusion for her problem, since she wasn't good at hunting in the other territories her only hope was to catch something real quick and quickly bring it back to the Tribe, she just had to be careful about that Pineclan apprentice and any other cats that might be out in the territory. Star turned and crept back into Pineclan territory, this time much more cautious about her surroundings and she prayed her black pelt would keep her hidden from sight better this time.
