~«Survival By War»~ (Warrior cat rp)

"I'm so scared." Rainstar rolled her eyes, voice dripping with sarcasm. "Your beloved hero is of fighting, and here you are, a weak little she-cat and her kits...all at my mercy." She purred, and lunged forward, slamming Wish to the ground mercilessly. "Which to kill first? You or the kits...you or the kits..." She mused calmly, eyes narrowed.

Wish let out a sharp pained gasp as her back was slammed against the ground violently, the wind knocked out of her for a split second. Her eyes welled up with tears as she felt herself panick underneath the evil she-cat, she wasn't a Tribe-Guard so she had no idea how to fight her but that didn't stop Wish from trying to claw at her attacker. "P-please, they're just kits" she begged quietly, her throat tightened in emotion as she gave up her futile attempts at clawing Rainstar.

" 'Please, they're just kits!' " Rainstar mocked, her voice shrill as she tossed her head in exasperation. "Do you really think that bothers me?" She growled, raking her claws down the sides of the queen. "Do you really think I care that they are kits? You are sadly mistaken. I don't. A Tribe cat is a Tribe cat, and each and everyone of them deserves to die, no matter if they are a kit or not!"

"How... how could you think such a horrible thing, all kits are precious no matter where they come from." Wish whimpered before she yowled in pain as her sides were brutally clawed. "Don't you have a code... you... can't kill cats, especially not kits!" She tried to kick at Rainstar with her hindlegs, desperate more than ever now.

Nightbird's thick pelt protected her from most of the prey-hunter's unbalanced blows, which just brushed through her fur. Some, though, caught on her skin and ripped painfully. Her ears back, Nightbird hissed and clawed at the tribe cat's shoulders.
Mink squirmed further beneath the larger female's belly, still throwing her ineffective scratches. Calling on the power of logic, she reasonably guessed the underside of this cat had to be more sensitive and just clung to the hope that she'd find herself an out soon. Cowardice, sure, but there can't be any value in me falling here.

Leopardmoon winced a bit as she looked him over with a quick sweep of her eyes "Yeah, you look pretty beaten up." She noted as blood dripped from many scratches she had landed on him.
Snarl made an effort of looking disappointed. "Well, then, guess like it's time for me to be going." With that, he surged up and lunged for her face as if to get in one last memorable blow. Instead, he pressed his cheek to hers to deliver a rushed whisper. "You'd better keep yourself safe, or I'll never forgive myself."
Then he was streaking away for one of the smaller exit tunnels, nothing more than a defeated blur.

"Just because we have a code doesn't mean I have to follow it!" Rainstar spat, hissing as the Kit-Mother's hind claws dug into her hind leg. She lunged forward, her teeth sinking viciously into the flesh of Wish's shoulder, a low growl of triumph rumbling in her throat as she pulled away, jaws dripping with blood, and the sharp, familer metallic taste in her mouth. "I just want revenge on the Tribe, no matter what I have to do to get it."

Wolf didn’t hesitate in bowling the intruding tom straight back out of the den. “When someone lays a paw on my mate or my kits is when I’m dead.” His deep snarl was a compliment to the series of heavy and ruinous blows he methodically landed to the other tom’s face; absolutely no remnant of his normally laidback self was present.
Wolf did exactly as he'd promised. With a storm of claws and a tempest of teeth, he'd unleashed more than enough paternal rage to send the disgruntled tom fleeing.
But when he turned back to return to his family, he found his path barred.
"Going somewhere?" The gray she-cat before him gave him a wicked sneer as flaunted muscles only found on the most esteemed cave-guards. "Deerpaw, get over here."
And suddenly she wasn't alone. An equally thickset little tabby tom marched to her side, but unlike his older ally, his expression was calm. Calm, Wolf thought disgustedly. Of all the expressions to wear while needless bloodshed is happening.
As the huge she-cat sprang for him, Wolf met her in mid-air. Each of his fully clawed paws connected with her corresponding shoulder and the two fell in a madly writhing bundle. Teeth met fur and blood met air. Both knew what they were fighting for and both were fighting for their love with an acrimonious force to be reckoned with. Occasionally, claws would come for him from an entirely different direction- the young tom wasn't hesitating from joining in and making this fight even more uneven.
When Wolf came up and shrank back a few paces, he realized he was now fighting three cats. A slender, speckled gray she-cat with an air of absolute superiority crouched beside the tom; actually, she looked like she could easily be the adult female's kit.
The grown gray she-cat decided to lunge and throw Wolf back down then, smacking his head to the dirt at an angle that has his gaze rivet on his mate and her attacker. Wolf let out an agonized screech and writhed spastically, losing sizable chunks of his pelt to the infallible grip that kept him down. Perhaps she was aware of the situation beyond, because, no matter how he struggled, she managed to keep him pinned.
The heart-stopping scene before him having conceived real desperation, Wolf decided to try her mercy by putting his suspicions to words. "These are your kits?"
Unblinking yellow eyes met his. "Maybe."
"Then you know parenthood." Through his reddening vision, it was abundantly clear to Wolf that the heartless gray she-cat looming over Wish was clearly threatening his kits now.
His opponent had to speak through a mouthful of his shredded chest fur to get her retort out. Judging by her slitted eyes and widening grimace, she seemed slightly reluctant to continue this discussion. "And?"
"Surely you're not going to keep me here while your leader goes after my own litter." Wolf was gasping to get his words out now; her grip on his throat was getting extreme. His head throbbed as his air supply was increasingly restricted and his eyes started giving him all sorts of weird interpretations of the world before him.
Those stark yellow irises continued to bore into his for so many indefinite heartbeats. "Oh, I will." Having abruptly released her death-grip on his throat, Brightclaw watched him gasp for air and writhe for freedom with grim satisfaction. She lifted a paw and ran it down his heaving flank caustically, as if giving him a comforting pat that went innocently awry when it started to coax blood up and outward. "Your kind took the love of my life away from me. Don't think I'll have any issue watching you suffer through your own loss."
Wolf stilled suddenly and lifted his throbbing head, his eyelids flickering as his dwindling hope drained out with his liberated blood. "And the Clans call us the heartless among this society."
For the first time, Ivypaw let up her hurricane of whirling claws and fell back. Her eyes wandered away from the immediate confrontation and instead brought her attention to Rainstar and the new queen she was threatening. What...how is this even...StarClan...
Deerpaw, meanwhile, darted forward to finish what his mother had started. He dug both sets of front claws into the largest wound on his side and began to rip the protectively clinging shreds of his pelt away. Wolf's blood was so violently freed that it sprayed up into the frenzied apprentice's face, but he didn't slow his wild shredding. To him, this torture was the most ideal vengeance he could ever seek to exact. You killed my father. You killed my father. You killed my father. You killed my father. You killed my father.
Hardly able to bear the agony of all the fierce intrusion to his body, Wolf's eyes rolled and he was once again an appalled witness of his perfect life's abrupt severing.

Leopardmoon flinched back at first, thinking he was going to attack her face but was relieved when he didn't. She gave an amused purr at his words, it was too loud for him to hear it with all the battle and he had already darted away. "Take care of yourself Snarl." She whispered as his tail disappeared completely into the tunnel he was using to escape, she sighed before she gritted her teeth and whipped around to actually fight, she wanted to at least help the apprentices stay alive.

Wish heard the sound of her mate fighting not far from her and her heart filled with cold fear as she wasn't able to turn her head to see him anymore. She yelped in her own pain as Rainstar seemed to just be toying with her like a kit with a dead bug as she inflicted a wicked wound on Wish's shoulder. She didn't have the strength to speak and even if she did what would she say to the crazy she-cat, Wish shut her eyes tight now expecting death.

Rainstar watched the she-cat below her almost curiously, swiping her tongue over her blood-soaked jaw. Her claws raked furiously over and over on Wish's sides, before she leapt off the she-cat gracefully, aiming one last slash across the Kit-Mother's belly, before padding over to the nest of mewling kits.
She frowned. Could she kill a kit? She was a mother herself. But I gave away my kit so she could be a WaterfallClan spy.
A snarl formed in her throat. It was the same as killing a warrior, she told herself, viciously dragging one of the kits from the nest, her claws raking over the kit's tender flesh on his back. Just. Kill. The. Kit.

Wish cried and shrieked in pain, she kept her eyes clamped shut. She just wanted it all to be over, the pain of her new wounds were unbearable and it felt like she might as well bleed out with the amount of blood she could feel pool around her. Wish was allowing herself to drift into unconsciousness, to give up, when she suddenly forced her eyes open at a sound that shot through her heart. One of her tiny kits was mewling in a horrific nightmarish way that signaled their pain. Wish shot up, her fur fluffed out and her claws gleaming as she felt adrenaline rush back into her with the force of a thousand rivers. Her blood was burning but her mind was numb as she staggered toward the sight of Rainstar standing over Weed, her claws stained even more by his blood. Wish let out a howl of pure fury and grief as she leaped forward with the last of her strength. Rainstar had whipped her head around a second too late and Wish took in the fact that she was about to make sure the last thing Rainstar ever saw was her rage as she avenged her kit. With all her strength put into one blow, Wish sunk her claws deep into Rainstar's throat and ripped through it cleanly, splattering the leader's blood as Wish stood panting over Rainstar as the leader fell to the ground, gasping her last taste of air.
