May your ancestors guide you." She told the Healer she-cat in a tired meow, before she turned to join the retreating Pineclan cats.

Fire watched the PineClan cats retreat, a frown on her face. She sat down, looking upwards. "Oh, Tribe of Endless Hunting, why have you brought Rainstar upon us? To much blood was shed tonight.."

Flamepaw trailed after Leopardmoon blankly, occasionally stumbling over his own paws. What am I going to tell Frostpaw? 'Hey, Frost, Dovepaw died because I couldn't protect her, sorry about that I guess.'

Flamepaw let out a humorless laugh. "I don't need the gory details of my sister's death, thank's Leopardmoon. I know what happened, she was killed by the Tribe. The cat's I thought were innocent."

Needlepaw was slipping through the cats escaping through the tunnels "Dogpaw! Dogpaw, where are you!" He called desperately. That's when he heard his brother give a rasp in reply and he found him quickly at the back of the retreating clan. Needlepaw's eyes widened and brimmed with tears as he saw his ragged and blood soaked brother, he limped badly and was trailing blood behind him. "Dogpaw! You need to move faster, you're bleeding out!" Needlepaw cried in despair, his brother was about to give a retort but instead he coughed up blood, making Needlepaw even more scared "Help, HELP!" He called desperately to his clan mates, not realizing there was nothing they could do.

Suddenly Ivypaw was right there at his side and she looked horrible. Her whole body accompanied each movement with uncontrollable convulsions and, for how hollow her eyes were, she might as well not have had eyes at all. "Flamepaw, I'm scared."

Leopardmoon sighed "A great injustice has occurred... I knew we shouldn't have brought any of you apprentices, actually we shouldn't have brought anybody." She growled, her fur bristled as she glare at Rainstar You won't be leader for long... I'll be sure to stop you.
