«We Could Be Legends»

Indigo looked straight through those bright green eyes into his soul, wondering who he got them from.
"You need my help though," Indigo pleaded. I'm trying really hard not to force you right now. Still, it would be another of her stupid decisions to say that.
And yet, habitually, her eyes got real big and beggy, usually she got her way then. "You need proof that I'm all for you? Give you anything you want. I want to help you. My job is to help anyone who was hurt by the Pure, the job of our whole organization. Sorry if I'm not the greatest example of that, but that's what we do. You want to trust me, you really do, don't you?"
"No, I don't really. My friends are hurt and I really don't care about whatever you're trying to do. So stop begging. I'll go with Wolfram, but I am not leaving his side. Bleddyn, Fritz, and Zion aren't unless they want to, they aren't seriously hurt, Bleddyn was the worst off and she's treated. Do me a favor though, shut up." Lachlan growled.
"I'm coming too, just to scout things out." A murmur came from behind Lachlan, and River stepped into view. "You don't have a problem with that, do you, Enchanter?"

Wolfram mewled softly, slipping into consciousness. He blinked open his eyes, looking up at Lachlan and Indigo. Fear flashed in his eyes, and he gave a weak hiss at the enchanter.

"Nope," Indigo said simply.

Jessi glanced at Peter. "You sure? You look a little ill."
"Yes. I'm sure." Peter said, quickly glancing out a window so he didn't have to meet the eyes of the people sitting by him. How come I was fine at the park, but not in a completely casual situation?
"Yeah. Hm, thought so. I am too. You're Sammy and Crow's kid?" Camilla said, then looked awkward. "Sorry, I'm talking your ear off."
"Yes. I'm the adopted one." He took his eyes away from the window for a second to glance shyly at her. "Nah, not really. I mean, I'm used to my sister." Peter cracked a small grin.
"Thanks." Jessi said. "Hey, Charlie, what's going on?"
"Hi Jessi, is Toby with you? I've been trying to call him for the past hour. Where are you?" Charlie asked.
"I'm hanging out with some friends. No, Toby isn't with me. Last time I checked he was meeting up with some of dad's old friends."
"Okay, I'm just worried. He always answers his phone. If he calls you, let me know, okay?"
"Okay, talk to you later." Charlie hung up. Jessi glanced at Camilla. "That was weird." Jessi said. "It looks like we're here. I need to find a place to park. Keep an eye out for empty parking places, please."
Camilla peered out the window, glancing over the area. The building was tiny, brick, and had dark windows. A large sign on the building, with white, fancy letters said 'Locksmith and Smith'. As they passed the doors by she saw a sign saying the hours-- Eight to five.
There were multiple trees on the property around the building, they were dead looking, having no leaves, the street was empty too, and almost no cars garnished the parking lot. Along with this the rain added to the spooky sense, and Camilla shivered-- partly from the cold crisp air. "Your not gonna have a problem with that. There's no one here! But, would you get a parking space near the doors? I'm not hoping to walk in the rain and cold."
"Ok." Jessi said, and parked by the door. "Man, this place is creepy. Let's go in." Jessi got out of the car and stepped up by the door.
Brisa climbed out, flipping up the hood of her raincoat, and went to stand next to Jessi. "Very creepy. Um, how are we gonna get in?"

(This is gory intenseness....:O )
"I assume we just knock. If no one answers we break the door down." Jessi said.
Camilla hopped out of the van, and jogged past the others. "Good, wasn't just me thinking both those things." She murmured, pushing open the dark door and stepping in, warm air batting her face. "Now this isn't so bad!" She said, peering about. Uncut, brightly colored keys hung suspended from turnable cylinders, nearly everywhere. The walls were bright white, and to the side of the store, behind a counter was an old scrawny man, with a warm and welcoming smile on his face.
"Hello! Welcome, how may I help you?" He greeted kindly.
(I thought it was closed 'cause it's Sunday)
Brisa followed Camilla in, glancing uncertainly back at the others.
(Sorry for the short post)
Realizing that they had stopped, Peter unbuckled his seat belt and hopped out, not waiting for Camilla's response. He walked up to Grace, "Have mom or dad texted you?"
"Yeah. Said they're still working."
"Oh,"
The siblings headed in after the others, in a silent agreement not to discuss their parents' working hours. They looked around at the keys in the seemingly nonthreatening shop.

Wolfram mewled softly, slipping into consciousness. He blinked open his eyes, looking up at Lachlan and Indigo. Fear flashed in his eyes, and he gave a weak hiss at the enchanter.
Lachlan glanced down at him. "We're getting you fixed up, Wolfram."
"Nope," Indigo said simply.
River watched the enchanter. She motioned to the door. "We best be off then, before we loose a kid."

Wolfram hissed, lashing his tail weakly. I don't want to go with her! Don't make me go with her! He hissed again, flattening his ears.

Lachlan glanced at Indigo, before quickly looking back to Wolfram. "She has a point, we don't have antiquate medical treatment at my house. Me and some others are going too, if they try anything, we'll take care of them." He murmured.

A low growl rumbled in Wolfram's throat. But he just gave up. The oncoming darkness welcomed him all to quickly. He struggled to stay awake, but darkness swallowed him. He gave a mewl, and went limp again.

Indigo pouted her full lips and made her big purple eyes go big. "No. You're going to faint or die. You are pale as that cat-boy. I'm forcing you to come. I hate to do this, but you're getting sleepy," her purple eyes swirled and she hesitated more making this enchantment than before.
She watched as he tried to stay awake, but his eyes betrayed him and started to droop. He would fall into a brief enchanted sleep. It helped keep his body from getting worse from the wound.
Yes, she thought. "You did a brave thing out there. I'm just a coward. Let's see if I can find more who need my help."
She walked down back into the subway tunnel, finding the teens carrying Wolfram. "I can help him. He will be healed," she reassured the scared looking children carrying him.

Wolfram's limp cat body rested in Lachlan's arms, the little muscle the cat had twitched in his unconscious sleep, as if he where being hit. Then he fell still, hardly looking alive, unless you looked closely.

"Lachlan, we need to take the injured to the Multitude, they can fix you up... why are you carrying a cat?" Indigo asked.

Lachlan whirled around, having not noticed Indigo. "That's Wolfram, Enchanter. And I think you should try talking about that to Mrs. Hero and my mother, they're never agreeing to that. We have adequate resources to heal them at our places."

"Young man, he's in dire need of help, and with the resources of the Multitude, he could be healed in a day instead of months. No home could carry medical supplies and training unless your mother is a doctor? And they will ask too many questions at the hospital. And this boy has no legal guardians. This could prove to be... problematic. If you want for what is best for this boy, you would take him with me. I can transport you, you can go along for the ride. And I will make a promise no harm will come to him." A funny smile crossed her face at the notion. "Enchanters promise."

Wolfram flinched in Lachlan's arms, his eyes opening for a heartbeat. He looked at Indigo, his eyes instantly widening in fear, sinking his claws into Lachlan's arm. But then, unconsciousness claimed him once more, and he looked more dead then ever.

"My mother knows how to take care of wounds. And do not scold me, I'm not an idiot, I understand that him not having a legal guardian is trouble. I understand he is in dire need of help, and I'm not taking him to a hospital. I have no reason to trust the Multitude. And 'Enchanters promise' makes me trust you less. Enchanters are capable of lies and never being caught. If we take him to your Multitude, I'm not leaving his side, Enchanter." Lachlan hissed.

"That's no problem," Indigo said. "And I'm sorry if first impressions are so incredibly horrible. Now we have to go. He's fading fast." She meant Toby, really. That cat was very rude. But she did not act one bit like she thought so.

Lachlan looked her in the eye. "Honestly, I'm usually good at seeing through liars, and I'm not thinking you're one way or the other right now." She helps herself, don't trust her. He strode forward, brushing past her, going for the way out. "Come on, Bleddyn, Fritz, Zion."

Indigo looked straight through those bright green eyes into his soul, wondering who he got them from.

Glowering at the suspicious woman for leaving her no choice to make for herself, Bleddyn whipped around and grabbed Fritz's arm impulsively. "Come on then," she snapped, on edge because she had no say in where they were going. "You have any idea where Emily and Sherri are yet?!"

Fritz ripped his arm out of her grasp, sparks zinging from his palms and zapping her arm. Oh shoot.
As he watched the embers sizzle out on her skin, he swallowed in a vain attempt to rid himself of this dangerous agitation. "Don't touch me," he fired back at her, eyes narrowed defensively. "They should be around somewhere." He pivoted on his heel, angling his next words to bound back down into the depths of the dark hall. "Sherri! Emily!"

Bleddyn froze, stung by the shock that he'd literally flared at up. Didn't see that coming. She rubbed her scorched arm vigorously, glaring vengeful daggers at the back of his head. "You could be more tactful with that, moron. We're trying to be somewhat discreet, remember?"

Fritz spun to face her, shivering again but not with unease. "We just killed about a dozen people," he retorted shortly, his voice wavering as he tried to keep himself composed. "You're really concerned about being quiet?"

"Ok, to my car. We're going to the Multitude base. Sherri and Emily are going to Jessi, so she can access Toby's car," Indigo said, walking back toward the steps out of the tunnel.
