«We Could Be Legends»

"All right," Roberto, his deep voice still even. (Wait, who is their leader? I thought they were just going to be healed.)
"Roberto, no need to come get me, I decided to come check on our guests myself." A regal voice filtered in as a door flew open, a tell young woman sliding through. She turned to close the door before River could get a good look at her, but when she turned back, she wore a huge smile, and River began to flick her eyes over her, seeing if she recognized her.
The woman had dark blonde hair, she also had dark brown rather big eyes, her skin had a dark tan to it, and a scar cut over her top lip. Something stirred in River, telling her she knew this woman. "Who are you? The leader?" She growled suspiciously.
"Yes. You look... Okay, for the circumstances. Oh, how it does shock one to see their rescuer forget them, but I do suppose it has been... What? Twenty years? It's me, Leona."

"Sir, you must leave if you are carrying weapons. There is a strict no weapons policy here," Roberto said.

"So if I leave you won't try to stop me?" Toby asked. He smiled. "If I would have known I was allowed to leave I wouldn't have entered in the first place." Toby was just about to leave when the woman introduced herself. "You guys know each other? Wait, Leona, as in the person who always called Rex 'Floppy'?" He asked. He remembered stories Rex used to tell him and Jessi when they were little, before he decided he didn't want to deal with little kids anymore and left for the military.

"Um..." River was at a lost for words. Leona was the leader of the Multitude? How? Was this even Leona?
Leona turned to him, her bright smile not wavering. "No one is keeping you here, you can come and go as you like. Ah, so you know Floppy. Yes, that's me. Are you his son?" She said, a happy sound clinging to her voice.

Wolfram gave one last irritated, inaudible snap at Bleddyn before following the nurse, forcing himself to stay upright."That ungrateful brat!"He snarled to Lachlan."I save her life, two, no, wait, three times and I don't even get a 'Thank you'! She is obviously oblivious to the fact that I friging care for once. Well you know what? Screw her! At least I can keep my life, and not block her pathetic throat from being ripped open!"

Roberto turned and smiled at his leader. They were more on friendly terms than professional ones. Just imagine a 4-H club.
Now imagine those kids grew up and added a few spies, a mini hospital and a different goal.

"Er- I guess you could say that. He's my step dad." He tightened his grip on Alpha's leash. Something about Leona seemed weird to him, but it might have just been the entire place. "I should go." He glanced at River. He was feeling extremely guilty about suddenly leaving the others.
Just like mom.
What?
I'm abandoning my fr- the people I know like mom did. I'm no better than her. I'm just a coward.

(I really just want to give Toby a hug.
I don't like hugging people,
But I really just want to give Toby a big hug)

Lachlan cocked his head ever so slightly at Wolfram, judging the possibility of getting away with telling him to not call Bleddyn a brat. Not very high. At the same time, he kinda agreed with Wolfram. "You know what? All you just said is true. She should have at least thanked you, you took pain for her. But I don't think she's oblivious to the fact that you care for her, she just wants to be. She hates people caring for her... For some reason. But she is still my friend." He muttered, trying to keep himself from sounding awkward, both of them were his friends, saying something bad about one or the other ripped into him.
