Roberto sighed and rubbbed his hands together, and they tingled at the fingertips."Roberto can you not scream? I have a patient with a concussion and yelling isn't going to help. There was a simple argument, that's all."Vanessa explained.
Wolfram sighed, staring at the ground as Vanessa cleaned his wounds. He looked troubled and lost, his eyes narrowed. Why didn't mom ever tell me about all this? Maybe I would have had friend growing up...More friends then Sage anyway....she didn't last long though. He sighed again, wincing when Vanessa cleaned his head wound. Could I have saved her? I don't think I ever could have...I wish I could've, she was the greatest friend I ever had...
Della's hands glowed blue and she told him to sit on the paper topped bed. "This won't hurt, but you'll get an adrenalin rush. Much better than any hospitals out there. And your shoulder will be back in place in a jiffy."Fritz, after a moment's hesitation, followed her. His steps were jerky with caution, but at least he was willing to subject himself to whatever horrors waited to befall him down the corridor in the unfair trade for his vague illogical hope of being healed rather than betrayed.
Honestly, sometimes my brawny and fearless friends can be absolute worrywarts.

Fritz hopped up obediently. As he was slowly ceasing function to become an incredibly lifelike statue, he abruptly became aware of a noxious interference messing with the sterile quiet. Irked, he mentally began accusing all abiotic occupants of the room until it dawned on him that it was his own fingers toying with the paper sheet. Oh, quit it, Fritz. You'll be fine.Roberto sighed and rubbbed his hands together, and they tingled at the fingertips.

"Yeah, if you shower and change."Fritz hopped up obediently. "Soooo....my dad won't even know I was ever hurt after this?"
Fritz gave her a strange look, brow furrowed in confusion. "Alright, but....I'm already sitting.""Yeah, if you shower and change."
Della applied disinfectant to anything that looked slightly bloody. "Sit down. It will take less than a minute."
"Oh, I mean lie down, relax, remember to breathe. Way too many people hold their breath for some reason." Della's fingers clenched slightly with the need to pull. Pull the pain away, heal the the wounds.Fritz gave her a strange look, brow furrowed in confusion. "Alright, but....I'm already sitting."
Brisa took the envelope carefully, surprised that he had given it to her. Glancing at the others uncertainly, she put it gently into the pocket of her dress, pushing it down to the bottom to make sure that it wouldn't fall out. "Th-thank you." She said earnestly, the gratitude showing clearly in her eyes. "This is amazing." A strange feeling came over her, a tiny sense of the immense importance of the small yet extraordinarily significant thing they now had. And I don't even know what that significance is.Tom gave them each a hard look, "Well, you never know." He hesitated still holding the envelope. "Silver gave her life to keep this hidden. Now no one living but me, knows where it is. She didn't even tell the people she worked with, because she wasn't sure who could be trusted. She went to her old friends instead. You having this paper, you must have met Maryella." He sighed picking the paper back up off the counter, re-crumpling it and throwing it back in the garbage. "What exactly do you plan to do with it once you have it? I suppose it doesn't really matter. Silver was careful." He nodded to himself as though coming to a decision.
Tom handed the Envelope to Brisa. "In side there, is a key for a safe deposit box. It's in the BofA down on Credence street. The thing that Silver was hiding from the pure, it's in that box. Though, you'll have a hard time getting in there with out her. "
(** description ** inside the envelope is a hollow metal cylinder attached to a key ring. The end not attached to the key ring has notches cut into it. It is a key to a safe deposit box for the bank)
Lachlan silently watched as Vanessa diligently worked on Wolfram's wound, trying to make sense of the chaos that had irrupted that day. When Wolfram got up from and scrambled out the door, Lachlan blinked, turning to Vanessa. "Thank you so much, Mrs. Davis." He murmured sincerely, before turning and in a flash, was out of the room and walking down the hall way, quietly following Wolfram into the main room. He glanced around, flicking his eyes over Bleddyn and Toby, when he realized someone was speaking. "... Final steps of wiping away the impure." He hardly caught the last sentence, much less understand it. He turned to see who was talking, and stood studying her for a second. His eyes fell on the jagged scar on her upper mouth. Leona. He realized before his eyes on River, who had a expression of slight fear on her face. Before he asked what they were speaking of, Toby stepped forward and started talking to them, and Lachlan, realizing that Wolfram had slipped out the door while he was watching the others, turned and followed out it. He would have liked to hear more of their conversation, but Wolfram was weak from his wound, so it perhaps it was best to make sure he was okay.Wolfram flinched when Vanessa spoke again."There. Keep a good eye on that arm wound."She told him."Y-yeah, thanks."He mumbled."Are you ok, Wolf?"She asked."I...I need to get out of here. Right now."He stood up quickly, getting out of the room as fast as possible. He walked down the hallway, his eyes wide and alert with a sort of fear. He moved past Bleddyn quickly, not even acting at if she existed. He darted down the steps, heading outside. Great, more rain. He glanced behind him, before stopping dead in his tracks. A bridge was in front of him, a large river rushing underneath it."Catch up, silly!"Sage jumped onto the rocks, climbing down to the river. She dashed into the cold water, diving under water. Wolfram hesintally followed, walking into the water."Ah, it's cold!!"He yelped, Sage appearing from under the water, her white hair plastered slick to her face."Thats the best part, silly!"She swam out further, head above the surface. Suddenly, a shriek was cut off as Sage was sucked under the surface."Sage!"He glanced around. His mother was no where in sight. He dove under the water, appearing to the surface next to the place she had been dragged under. A unmoving shape was floating on top."Sage!Sage!"Panicked, he swam towards her, struggling to drag her to shore. He shook her unmoving, lifeless shape desprately."Sage, No..."He whispered. She wasn't breathing."MOM! MOM it's Sage, Help me!"
He walked to the edge of the bridge, peering over to look at the rushing black and blue water, splashing with rain. He honestly didn't care that his freshly bandaged wound was now soaked with rain. He felt numb to the pain, blindly he walked down the narrow rock path to the swollen river. He sat on a rock, staring at the river."Sage? I...I'm so sorry..."He looked up at the dark gray sky, sighing."How many people am I going to let down? I just wish I could have made then proud..." Dad? I wish that I could have made you proud. Mom? I'm sorry I let you down. Sage? I'm so sorry! I'm so, so so sorry!
