«We Could Be Legends»

River whirled around quickly, scrambling over and checking over Delilah. "You." She snapped, motioning to a man, who's name appeared to be Roberto. "Can you be useful and help us out?" (@AMERAUCANAS4REAL You were playing that dude, right?)

Lachlan, biting his tongue to keep from telling her to not call him 'Lachy', nodded. "Yeah, one of the healers here can help him. I'm sure." He motioned to the brick building, stepping towards it slowly, but waiting for her.
Wolfram glanced at the small gray fox in his arms. How tempting it was to throw her outside. She punched him for no good reason. But he knew he would get a lot worse then a punch for doing that. He looked up, and saw Leona behind River. He didn't reconize her, and he narrowed his eyes."Who are you?"He asked, his voice almost emotionless, not exactly friendly nor defensive.

Misty locked eyes with Lachlan and nodded at him. "Lead me, she said quietly.

Toby heard a howl. He looked around, looking for where it came from. He saw Misty, Delilah, & Zion outside. N-no, we didn't leave them behind, did we? He thought. He walked outside, a hand on Alpha to keep from falling over. "Are you guys okay?" He asked.
Misty watched Toby as she walked with Lachlan inside. She nodded at him and smiled bitterly. "Guess you guys forgot about us eh?" she said tiredly. "I couldnt handle it but sheesh good to know one of your most powerful assets means something to you guys"

A grim look crossed Tom's face. "Don't thank me." He said his voice quiet. "Just, don't get yourselves killed."

Alice who had been leaning against a wall near by with her arms folded across her chest, stood up, "We'll be fine." She growled. What was it with all of these unhelpful people lately? Alice walked toward the door.

(sorry guys I have no clue how to respond :/ )
Jessi walked outside and got in the car. She started the engine and waited for the others to join her.
Camilla stood by the counter for a few seconds longer, giving the man a sideways look. "Thanks." She muttered, before whirling on her heals and jogging out the door, making a disgusted face as rain immediately battered down on her. She quickly jerked the van door open, climbing into the passenger seat and slamming the door shut. "Guess we're going to a bank." She murmured quietly.
Alice held the door open for everyone frowning at Tom the whole time. Maybe Silver had picked Maryella and Tom because they were so annoying. At least this guy didn't insist they pay him.

From the sound of it, what ever was in the bank was really important, and dangerous. He said that Silver was careful hiding it, but here he was practically throwing it at them. What could this "Key" possibly be, that he wanted to get rid of it so badly? Why would he trust them?
A wave of anxiety suddenly filled her, her heart dropping to her stomach. Something bad was going to happen, but she couldn't stop, she couldn't just leave. Everyone was already in danger, and she had no choice but to keep going and face it head on. To see it through to the end no matter what happened.

**Flashback**

Alice sat on a bench in the hallway, her head in her hands. The disgusting medical smell, filling her mouth every time she breathed in sobbing. There was no doubt in her mind. This time, it was all her fault. We should NEVER have gone there! Tears ran down her cheeks in unceasing rivers. Dyn... Why, Why did you want to go there? Why did you jump? It's not like you were going to miraculously sprout wings, just because you wanted to!

A hand gently brushed her shoulder, Alice batted it away, glaring up to see who would be so heartless as to disturb her. "Mom?" She sniffed, roughly wiping the tears off her face, trying desperately to replace her despair with anger. "What do you want?" She asked through clenched teeth.

Tayn crouched down and pulled Alice into a tight hug. "What were you doing there?" She whispered. Tayn had done everything she could think of to keep her kids from finding out about what had happened so long ago. How had she figured out where the inhuman city had been? Memories of that time came flooding back to her, painful memories she had tried to forget.

Alice stared at the bare wall, "We just," She hiccuped unable to talk properly, "I don't know." She she closed her eyes, shaking her head, finally attempting to awkwardly hug her mom back. She knew her mom was trying to make her feel better, but half falling off the bench and being crushed against someone was uncomfortable, bordering on painful. She hated herself for the stupid thought, why was she worried about a little discomfort, when Dyn was on the other side of the wall struggling to cling to life? She started crying again her tears making her moms hair wet and sticking it to her cheek. Her whole body shook as she tried to be as quiet as possible, maybe her mom wouldn't realize she was crying.

"I've told you so many times to be careful, bad things happen so quickly! You should have known better than to go there." Alice exhaled sharply and tried to stifle a sob, even her mom blamed her? She squeezed her eyes shut, a new sense of guilt coursing though her. She pushed her mom away roughly, shoving her off her feet onto the floor.

"MAYBE WE WOULDN'T HAVE GONE IF YOU HAD JUST TOLD US WHAT THAT PLACE WAS!" She screeched, and took off, sprinting up the hospital corridor. Her chest ached, but she pushed herself as fast as she could go. She had to get away! She had to get out! Dyn was going to die! And it was all her fault!
With one last grateful look towards Tom, Brisa turned and headed back to the car, pulling her raincoat closer as she stepped out into the downpour. She climbed into the backseat and buckled her seatbelt, pulling out her phone. "Should we try and get ahold of the others first?" She asked, reminded of Charlie's worried voice earlier.

Misty watched Toby as she walked with Lachlan inside. She nodded at him and smiled bitterly. "Guess you guys forgot about us eh?" she said tiredly. "I couldnt handle it but sheesh good to know one of your most powerful assets means something to you guys"

"I'm so sorry." Toby said guiltily. He mentally cursed himself. If I hadn't gotten shot maybe Indigo would've waited a little longer. No, that makes me sound like I'm special. If I hadn't been shot mrs. Hero would be dead. It's still probably my fault they were left behind.

"Yeah, I think that would be smart." Jessi said. After everyone was in the car she pulled out of the parking lot and drove to the bank.

Misty clapped a free hand on Tobys shoulder and smiles wholeheartedly, "Dont worry about it Toby, honey. I know that you probably were taken against your will and forced to leave us." Once I find them Im going to make them pay."

Toby flinched. He refrained from snapping at her. He slowly pulled away from her. "Are you hurt? There are healers that can help. If you trust them enough, that is." He asked.

Misty growled and shook the rain from her fur. She looked up at her son with worried eyes, Misty was holding Delilah by her scruff in her jaws and Zion was on her back in his eagle form with his eyes closed. In desperate measures to help the others, he had attacked Mapleshade and ripped out one of her eyes in the gory show he was putting on. Misty knew that he hated being violent and he was most likely still in shock from what he did. Once Wolfram's father picked up Mapleshade and told the guards to attack everyone, Zion blacked out.
Misty immediately went into defensive mode. She leaped over the others, shifting into her wolf skin as she sliced through the air, and landed next to Zion. She roared at the guards and breathed a thick wall of ice in front of her and Zion. She then picked up her son in her maw and once she turned around everyone was gone. Misty cursed in her head and sprinted over to unconscious Delilah. She shifted back to her human skin, her ears flat against her head in fury that the others left her behind. She hastily made a basket of warm ice and placed both Zion and Delilah in it, she slung it over her neck shifted back into her wolf skin and booked it out of the tunnels. Melting the ice wall that she had put up before as she ran, making sure she followed the scent of the others.
By the time Misty set paw outside Zion had woken up, she set the basket down and put Zion on her back, telling him to hold on tightly. She then grabbed Delilah by her scruff, melted the basket and dashed into the rain, still following the scent of the others.

Misty stopped for a few moments and panted heavily through Delilah's fur, she glanced at Zion again, determination filled her and she rolled her shoulders. She growled loudly and took off again, towards the building where everyone's scents stopped. Finally, she spotted Wolfram and Lachlan standing outside a building and she howled through Delilah's fur in pure joy.
Freddie was about to step out of the car when a large Wolf came barreling out of the tunnel, it's furry coat stained with blood. So, there were inhumans behind this. As quickly as the she-wolf had appeared she took off again up the street carrying 2 smaller animals. There was no sense trying to follow them right now, they didnt even know what had happened and the wolf had taken off int he same direction as the car. Most likely they were part of the same group....
