*Alice and Taylor go back in time (sorry guys)*
As the others started to edge down the side of the building, Alice held back, looking over at Taylor, who seemed to be nervous to go over the edge. "It's ok. I've been down before." She gave her a friendly smile and reached her hand toward her. "I can help you keep your balance?"

Wolfram nonchalantly pulled the knife from his pocket, snapping it open. With half a eye on Emily, he traced the cold, hard metal side of the blade lightly. Keep watching her....don't let your guard down...don't trust her....
Out of the corner of her eye, River saw him take out the knife. It was the one she had given Lachlan on his tenth birthday, and the one her father had given her on her tenth. It's familiar steal blade glinted in the light that shown down from the holes in the ceiling, it's fake deer-antler handle that was adorned with a small picture of a well done painting of two wolves gripped firmly in Wolfram's hand.
She traced the handle of her gun, her head cocked at Emily innocently.

"I heard that!" Wolfram snarled. "You forget I'm a Neko, I can hear things you wouldn't imagine. I can hear a mouse right now, it's in the far corner over there, it's searching for food. I just heard a child laughing across the street, even though I'm underground. I can still hear it."
(I like how this casually implies there are random children in the middle of the wilderness.)

(aaaand she's not online.)

Alice and Taylor made it to the bottom with the others and followed. Alice stared wide eyed at the place where her mother had done training. What kind of training? And then she was part of a war? Killing people with her lightning? That didn't sound like something her mom would do. But then, it was a long time ago. But why hadn't either of her parents mentioned it?

River rolled her eyes at Wolfram. "I meant your physical wounds--" At that moment Toby tapped her, and her eyes followed his hand to the form, who's figure was obscured by the waterfall. "Wolfram, Toby, Taylor, Alice, stay here." She growled, a deathly tone to her voice that could send chills done every bone in someone's body.
She gripped her gun, pulling it from it's holster as she crept forward, her hands holding the pistol with blue ribbon form, her body lowered to the ground ever-so slightly.
She slid behind some rocks, before coming out, pushing the gun against the back of Emily's head. "Who are you, and why are you down here?" She snarled, her voice silky, but dripping with poison. She was yet to recognize who it was.

Seeing Aunt River carrying a gun around was nothing new, but seeing her actually threaten someone, in a place where she said she had killed so many before, made Alice's stomach turn. Why did they have to kill anyone?
"River Im a adult you can't-" Wolfram drew off as he realized what River saw. Ignoring River's previous warning, he slunk through the shadows. Silent. Unnoticed. Hidden. With knife in hand, he came around the boulders to the front of the woman. "Do not move, we have you-" He broke off, his eyes adjusting to the dull light, enough to make out who it was. "River! It's...I don't know her name. It's....Sherri's mom."
She frowned worriedly at Wolfram leaving, did he have a death wish, River was just as likely to shoot him, as this stranger, if he surprised her. What is he doing? She looked over at Toby wishing he could do something. Brilliant plan Wolf! Stand in front of the gun! So that when she shoots she kills you both! Alice yelled at him in her head. She relaxed a bit when he said who it was. I guess she won't kill you this time. She sighed frustrated with how determined he seemed to be to break every rules. At some point he was going to learn that doing what he was told was better than going off and doing whatever he wanted. A twinge of guilt pulled at her, if she had done what she was told instead of just going off and doing what ever, none of this would have happened.

River sniffed, giving him an odd look. "I'm not protective of you, I'd just rather you be with the others. Like I told you to. And I didn't say I doubted that you can protect yourself, I mean, I do, but you still disobeyed direct orders, plus, maybe you can protect yourself, but I don't trust Taylor or Alice to protect themselves." She growled, annoyed that he had ignored her order, and that he had said she was protective of him. Okay, Sure, she was getting protective of him, but she wouldn't admit to that. "And isn't that Lachlan's knife?" She asked quizzically.

River raised an eyebrow. "Doing our thing. I asked you a question first, answer it now, Emily Lastless." She snarled, her body straightened to her full height, her form intimidating.
With River's question, Emily stiffened. "I used to live here. With my daughter being taken by those Pure freaks, I came and remembered all that they had already taken. But it's not all bad. This life I have now includes sunlight, and beauty. And so, I think it's still worth fighting for." She finished sadly. "I have just as much a right to be here as you. I'm suprized they haven't closed this off ages ago.

River rolled her eyes at Emily. "Yeah, I kinda remember all that, Emily." She growled, taking a pace back and glancing at Alice, Toby, and Taylor, jerking her head sideways to indicate that they could come over. "I doubt they even know about this place, the world would be flipping out over the fact that there was a entirely inhuman city underground, and that there's a giant battle field strewn with dead people beside it." She said, her eyes landing back on Emily.

(I like how this casually implies there are random children in the middle of the wilderness.)
(No one said it was exactly in the middle of nowhere. I was assuming its just a small town with a few houses, but not in the middle of nowhere)

"I've been here for years before. You should really answer to me," Emily replied.
River rolled her eyes at Emily. "Yeah, I kinda remember all that, Emily." "We're doing what we need to do, Emily." Wolfram spat, tightening his grip on the knife's handle. "And it's none of your business." His eyes glinted in the darkness. He jerked, a soft noise alerting him, but it was only Taylor, the teenage witch, if that's what you would even call her, came creeping over slowly.

Toby walked up to River, still holding the knife tightly in his hand. He looked at Emily. If it was someone else, he might've put the knife away, but he didn't like her, so he held onto the knife, ready to attack if she made the wrong move.
