As far as I can tell. We’ll hopefully be there soon. She replied, glancing up at Indigo after hitting send. “She’s almost to the woods.” Brisa told her.
Yris trudged through the forest, heading to the clearing where'd the others would most likely be. She could've sworn she saw two things laying on the ground in the distance, but given the days current events, she simply put her head down and kept walking, ready to shift into a fox if she had to.Cool, cya then. Jessi put the phone back in her pocket. She flew over the woods and landed, dropping the body on the ground. She nudged him with her foot. Should I eat him now? Hmm. Toby's going to have a heart attack when he finds out I ate a guy. I can see the look on his face now. She snickered.

Virio had left a while ago, and was walking his way home, taking the route that always passed by the woods as a result. He was actively checking the man's phone still having lready learned a good deal regarding the Pure. Already, he knew names, some locations, a good deal of the plans. He had to act fast, and had honestly done so, making sure that he had written down information from the phone in a book if it were to get shut off remotely. He looked up once more, routinely checking his surroundings, and saw a girl on a hoverboard headed his way, presumably either for him or for the forest. It seemed like she was from class, wasn't she?“I’m going to go.” Brisa told Indigo, gesturing randomly towards the woods. “It might be better if some of us split up.” She began to leave, then glanced back, feeling bad about leaving. “Maybe I can get to Jessi before she eats that guy. She seemed pretty set on that idea.” With a small smile, she turned and sped away on her hoverboard, zooming in the direction of the woods.
"Oh, good," Indigo said.“I’m going to go.” Brisa told Indigo, gesturing randomly towards the woods. “It might be better if some of us split up.” She began to leave, then glanced back, feeling bad about leaving. “Maybe I can get to Jessi before she eats that guy. Brisa took a few deep breaths and listened to Bleddyn speak, her eyes closed. Finally, a voice of reason. Thank you, Bleddyn. She opened her eyes again at the sound of Sherri’s entry, a bit calmer. A rush of shame swept over her for her stupid reaction and for ever thinking the others would betray her, and she met Jessi’s eyes as her friend glanced around, giving her a little encouraging smile. Looking over at the substitute, her eyes narrowed as she watched him, anger beginning to replace her fear. How dare he threaten their loved ones? And Bleddyn was right, their lives were a terrible bargaining chip. Well, in the big picture, maybe, but imagine the pain River would feel if Lachlan or Finlay died. And how distraught Misty and Delilah would be at Zion’s murder. It would either break us down from within or add fuel to the fire. The rage our parents would feel at our deaths would burn the Pure to the ground. But how does the Pure have so many members and I’ve never heard of them before? They’re crawling out of the woodwork. She thought, searching her memory for any clues of the organization’s existence in her past. Maybe her evil math teacher? But she was absent today, so she was probably just a rude person. She jumped and stared when the teacher suddenly collapsed, watching Virio leave with surprise and a twinge of fear in her eyes.
Brisa paused her attempt to climb out the window (that’s what they’re all doing? Cause there’d be no room in the halls.) and glanced at Indigo. “When did you get here and how did you know that we needed help.” She asked, though it was more of a statement than a question. “And no, we can’t go to the Multitude base, we have to meet Jessi!” She exclaimed, pressing a button on her bracelet to call her hoverboard and glancing around, trying to count heads and see if everyone was there.
"Ok, Jessi then. Just tell me where she's at. Just don't give them the key," Indigo said seriously.
“I will never give them the key.” Brisa replied, a bit more forcefully than she had intended. She climbed the rest of the way out of the window and brushed herself off, jumping onto her hoverboard as it arrived. “We’ve decided to meet her in the woods.” She replied, meeting Indigo’s eyes, then glancing away at the shattered window. “Where exactly I’m not sure, but I’ll text her.”
"Ok," Indigo met her eyes, and settled into the driver's seat and turned on the vehicle.
Brisa flew her hoverboard over to the driver’s side window and stopped, floating there. “I don’t know how you got outside our classroom window in your truck or how you knew we all were in trouble, but-” She shook her head, dismissing her train of thought. She turned away and texted Jessi:
Where exactly are you? Coming your way soon.
(Okay. I’ll edit)

Peter was about to teleport out of the room (they are going out the window, right?) when he noticed that Bleddyn had decided that being a rebellious teenager and sitting on desks was more important than escaping. "No time for mental breakdowns," he muttered, coming up to her and poking her elbow. "What are you doing?!"Morally conflicted, Bleddyn remained put in the empty classroom. She marched back over to the door that the irksome fox girl had left ajar in her wake and proceeded to thoroughly relock it.
Having sufficiently determined herself safely shut away from prying peons for the moment, she hopped onto a desk and set about deeply pondering her questionably thriving educational life.
How she needed to take her biology test.
“I’m going to go.” Brisa told Indigo, gesturing randomly towards the woods. “It might be better if some of us split up.” She began to leave, then glanced back, feeling bad about leaving. “Maybe I can get to Jessi before she eats that guy. Frosty sighed and hid his face with a wing. "Yes, of course. So morally acceptable." His voice was dripping with sarcasm. "That's why you didn't kill any of those thugs at that base, right? Because only cowards kill?" The rooster glared at Wolfram, his eyes seeming to carry more anger than Mapleshade's. "You absolute and complete moron! You just RUINED our only chance of survival!!!"The words barely left Wolfram's mouth before another two vans pulled into the driveway. Masked men holding guns leapt from the trucks, surrounding them.
"Well, well, well. Playing hero now, Wolfram?"
Mapleshae cooed as he stood in front of Alice, eyes flashing.
"Try me, lady. I've had enough of your games."
Mapleshade surged up, snatching the collar of his sweatshirt, snarling. "Where is the key?"
Wolfram shook his head, no sight of fear in his eyes. "I don't have it."
A ripple of pain shot through his face as her nails dragged down his face, sinking deep into his skin. "Yes you do and I want it!"
"I have nothing."
"Then what is this?" She chuckled, her hand reaching over his shoulder, and snatching one of thecrystal's from his hood. "Beautiful, but not what I want!" She threw the crystal, where it hit a rock and cracked open.
Mapleshade let go of Wolfram, stalking towards River. "Why don't we have a little chat? Girl to girl!" Her voice rose to a high pitched laughter, her one good eye glittering maliciously as she stalked towards River, tail lashing. "I want the key. Give me the key, or your kids and your friends kids all die."
"No." Wolfram hooked a arm around Mapleshade's throat, holding the knife to her throat. "No. We will not give you the key. Because we do not have it."
Mapleshade hissed, standing stone still. "Why don't you just kill me then?"
"Only cowards kill!" He shrieked, yanking her around and throwing her against one of the vans.
The other Pure member stalked towards them, guns raised.
"Hold your fire."
(If y'all can, keep the posting to a minimum)
Brisa slowed at the sight of the guy who had killed the teacher. After watching him for a few seconds, she rode towards him and stopped a few feet away, hovering nervously. She didn’t know what the full capacity of his powers were and wasn’t sure if she could trust him, but she had to warn him. By killing a member of the Pure he had made himself a target. “Hi, I’m Brisa.” She started, clearing her throat. “Thanks for what you did back there. Um, I just wanted you to know that you’re probably in danger now and to be careful. The Pure, that organization that was mentioned, sees you as a threat now and will come after you if they figure out who killed that teacher. I can’t tell you much more, but be careful, okay?”Virio had left a while ago, and was walking his way home, taking the route that always passed by the woods as a result.
