"But I need your help. You are important, and a great person to have on our side." Indigo looked at the ground, her wet hair falling over her face. Her heels still burned.

Another soft whimper. His chest burned, aching to fall into her trickery. To feel wanted. To be liked for once."No!" He sobbed, the rain coming down hard, hard as it possibly could now.

Alice snapped back to reality how long had she been completely zoned out? She blinked bleary eyed up at wolframs back what was going on?

On our side? What?

Alice slowly got to her feet and walked over gently putting a hand on his hand that held the knife.

"Back away." She said calmly. Her eyes fixated on Indigo. What had she missed?

"Is there something wrong with being a good person?" Indigo asked sincerely. "What is wrong?"

Wolfram slowly turned his head to looked at her, trembling."No! I have to know the truth!"His voice was so desperate now, and he sounded afraid.

"Leave him.... i told you to leave him alone." She remembered she had already said that once before.

She was inside his head now, manipulating him, controlling him from inside."Stop!"He whimpered. His head ached from his wound, and he just felt like curling up and dying.

"Fine," Indigo said. "Please don't tell the police?" She pleaded.

"The police? Are they here?" She asked her whole body tensed at the thought of the police showing up. Panic rose in her chest, and she started shaking again, her hand tightening on Wolframs. She blinked the rain out of her eyes but she couldn't bring herself to look over her shoulder to see if the police were really there.

Somehow, despite the fear, what Indigo said made her feel warm. Like she had just handed her a hot cinnamon bun. She had no idea why, maybe it was the implied trust. Alice felt like they could be good friends, except that Wolfram was holding her at knife point.

"Why do you have a knife pointed at her? She's on our side. She didn't do anything wrong."

"Yeah," Indigo gasped. Suddenly she didn't look so much like a tall imposing, beautiful woman. She was still beautiful yes, and probably still tall too, but she was only in her twenties. She probably had a decade on these kids, but how much older is that? She walked out to her car in the flashing lights, able to sneak past the police. Indigo had a second thought.
She reached into her purse, which unlike the purses of other people didn't hold much more than her wallet.
Ha! As if!
She dug around.
Crumpled up paper, wallet, phone, gum, ugh what's that sticky stuff! She waved a delicate hand feebly to get it off, but all she did was grimace. There, floating around, was her business card. She tossed it, and it flew downwind towards Wolfram.
And it read: Indigo Alan, Enchantress. It had her number and was slightly sticky, and now getting damp in the grass at his feet.
"Tell me if you have changed your mind!" She said.
She got into the car and drove away, beyond the notice of the police. They were clearing away a lot of people who weren't involved.
Sherri had been silent this whole time, fearfully watching this event unfold. She didn't really want this pretty woman to get hurt, Sherri already felt responsible for her.
As red and blue lit her back, she sighed with relief. "The police are here!" She said joyously, bouncing with happiness.

Lachlan gave a slight nod to Wolfram's shocked and thankful glance, obviously the cat-boy hadn't expected Lachlan to agree with him.
Then he turned back the lady, and to a flurry of events, blinking as Wolfram pulled a knife and Peter teleported between Wolfram and Indigo, only to be thrown back. Then Alice grabbed Wolfram's pale wrist.
Indigo must have used that as a distraction, because when he looked back to her, she was gone.
He twisted his head around to catch sight of her retreating back. "Hey!" He snapped, just as she flipped a card to Wolfram. Lachlan glanced over it as he sat beside Bleddyn. "I knew it," He growled. "An enchantress."

The knife dropped, falling on the ground with a horrid clattering sound. Wolfram turned to look at Alice with a horrified stare."Are you serious?"He breathed."Does no one feel the vibe? She's no good!"

Wolfram picked up the knife, backing away from Alice, bad to Lachlan and Bleddyn. He kneeled down beside Bleddyn, looking over at Lachlan."I don't trust her...She had a grip on me, not a physical one, though. She somehow knew how to break me down without knowing me at all. And now...she trusts her..."He glanced over at Alice."When she Didnt before."

"I don't either. And Camilla trusts her too, Camilla never trusts strangers. It's her thing." Lachlan paused. "That Indigo or whatever reminded me of someone my parents told me about... A shapeshifter that was highly manipulative. Even when not faking to be someone else." He paused again. "Cops are here, and it's best they don't get their hands on you. I understand you are probably between homes right now, you can stay with my family for a few days, or not. And if you don't want me to help at least let me say that I'll let you borrow my motorcycle anytime, Wolfram, my parents know that I let my friends do that. You seem like a good guy."

Alice realized she was still holding his hand and quickly let go. She gave him a quizzical look, "She, seems nice?" She said not sure why she really felt that way. When Wolfram pull away she frowned and looked to Lachlan for support. Why was he acting like there was something wrong with her?
"She was nice." The look in Lachlan's eyes told her that he didn't agree. "Right Camilla?"

"Right, I agree with you, Alice. And she seemed like she could help us with this Pure problem." Camilla said.
"Guys, I have to say that I don't agree. She was dangerous." Lachlan said calmly.
