"But I need your help. You are important, and a great person to have on our side." Indigo looked at the ground, her wet hair falling over her face. Her heels still burned.
Another soft whimper. His chest burned, aching to fall into her trickery. To feel wanted. To be liked for once."No!" He sobbed, the rain coming down hard, hard as it possibly could now.
Alice snapped back to reality how long had she been completely zoned out? She blinked bleary eyed up at wolframs back what was going on?
On our side? What?
Alice slowly got to her feet and walked over gently putting a hand on his hand that held the knife.
"Back away." She said calmly. Her eyes fixated on Indigo. What had she missed?
"Is there something wrong with being a good person?" Indigo asked sincerely. "What is wrong?"
Wolfram slowly turned his head to looked at her, trembling."No! I have to know the truth!"His voice was so desperate now, and he sounded afraid.
"Leave him.... i told you to leave him alone." She remembered she had already said that once before.
She was inside his head now, manipulating him, controlling him from inside."Stop!"He whimpered. His head ached from his wound, and he just felt like curling up and dying.

"Fine," Indigo said. "Please don't tell the police?" She pleaded.
"The police? Are they here?" She asked her whole body tensed at the thought of the police showing up. Panic rose in her chest, and she started shaking again, her hand tightening on Wolframs. She blinked the rain out of her eyes but she couldn't bring herself to look over her shoulder to see if the police were really there.
Somehow, despite the fear, what Indigo said made her feel warm. Like she had just handed her a hot cinnamon bun. She had no idea why, maybe it was the implied trust. Alice felt like they could be good friends, except that Wolfram was holding her at knife point.
"Why do you have a knife pointed at her? She's on our side. She didn't do anything wrong."
