«We Could Be Legends»

Wolfram looked at Misty, looking like a trapped animal, frightened and panicking. "Who can I love when everyone I have loved is either dead or betrayed me?! My dad acted like I never existed, I watched my best friend drown, my girlfriend cheated on me with some lowlife, Mapleshade has gone insane and my mother is dead! Who I can I trust in this world?! No one! No one deserves trust. Not even you or River, for all I know you're against me, just waiting till I'm broken enough for you to just get whatever you want out of me! Just....please....please give me the knife...."
"You're already broken enough for anyone to get anything out of you. Wolfram we arent going to take advantage of you. Ive been betrayed and I was the betrayer we both know how you feel and we dont want you to go through what we've gone through. Wolfram. We love you. All of them love you. Let us help you."

Wolfram let out a half shriek half sob as he was jerked to his feet and the knife ripped from his hand. "Shut up, both of you! I don't want your words! I don't want your sympathy!" He shoved past Misty, whirling around to face both of them. "Because they can't fix me. You can't heal someone who is already completely shattered and broken. Words mean nothing to me. Absolutely nothing!" He looked at River, reaching out a violently trembling hand. "Just give me the knife back. Give. Me. The. Knife. Back."
Just....please....please give me the knife...."
River stared at him, her lip curling to reveal long fangs. "No." She snarled, stumbling back. "You do understand you're not the only one with crippling depression, right?" She snapped, literally hugging the knife to her chest. "And if words mean nothing, then shut up. I wasn't giving you my sympathy, so listen to what I was saying! If you can't listen, then don't assume! Stop thinking you're the worst off, just because you have a hard life, doesn't mean we don't either!" She shrieked, pointing at Misty, blood dripping from her hand. "You see her? She saw her entire people killed!" She whirled on Toby. "You see him?" She asked, glancing around. "He's been through crazy stuff, kid!" She growled, before taking out the knife's blade, slapping the side of it against her throat. "You see this idiot right here? I saw people that I loved die when I was ten, I killed my first man when I was fourteen." She stepped closer to Wolfram, eyes widened and crazed. "Have you ever killed?" She whispered, her voice taunt. "It's an interesting feeling. Addictive, even. I love it. I love pain. I love inflicting it, on myself and others." She growled, before stumbling back again. "I'm not giving you the knife, because I don't trust you." She snarled, flipping the knife's blade away and holding it close once more.
"And you're smart not to trust me, Wolfram. I expect that you never will." She glanced around, realizing how terrifying she looked, drenched in blood, yelling about pain, whispering about the feeling of killing.
"Can we just... Stop?"

Toby walked farther into the cave, away from the others. They were too distracted with other things, so he planned to bring some of the crystals to them. He was feeling awfully alone. Normally Alpha was with him everywhere, but he had stayed at the top. He pulled the knife out of his pocket, occasionally slashing at the shadows that moved towards him. He climbed over some rubble, and dropped down at the other side. His jaw dropped as he was greeted with glowing blue crystals. "Wow." He said, staring at them all.
River nodded, turning away from him. "Thank you." She murmured, and began walking after Toby.
River came up beside him, smirking. "They're beautiful, huh?" She said, getting to work on collecting them.
Wolfram glanced at River, before dashing after Toby. The darkness was calming to him, even though he couldn't see. It's better this way. That way, you can't see the demons that are waiting to kill you.

Wolfram came up beside Toby, stopping dead. "Wow..." He breathed, stepping over a pile of rocks, picking up one of the crystals. "They are....really beautiful...blue, like....." Like Bleddyn's eyes?
I dunno, Email lady stalked into the darkness in cat form, because she is doing nothing to advance the plot, plus finds that black haired kid scary and leaves the crystal behind.
(I like how they all completely ignore Frosty.)

"And that. Is what I would have said if I wasnt holding back." She said while pulling River back by the collar of her shirt

"No....no...no....no!" He broke off, a sob finally spilling over. "No you can't...you can't help me...I can't be helped...nothing can fix me...nothing....I've lost everything..."
River stared at him, her lip curling to reveal long fangs. "No." She snarled, stumbling back. "You do understand you're not the only one with crippling depression, right?" "Can we just... Stop?"
Wolfram hissed, backing away from her slowly. "I've killed. I killed in the Pure tunnels. And you know what? It does feel good. Especially when those people have caused you pain beyond measure!" His eyes burned with ferocity, tears spilling down his face. "I'm not trying to act like my pain is worse then yours. But you know what?! I was just kidnapped, I'm injured, I'm bleeding, I'm grieving, my mothers dead but I'm still standing." He broke off, gasping for breath through his sobs.

(I also was going to say this.)
Emily goes off to find someone less deadly to talk with. She runs into a black and white chicken. Hello, she meowed, realising a chicken couldn't understand her meows, or regular English. Still, she shifted into human form and pressed the little chicken to her breast as motherly instinct took over.
Her voice pitched into a croon, and she used baby talk, admittedly.
"You must be lost, little fella. Wait till Sherri sees you. Hopefully the cats don't eat you," she added.
(Apparently her Inhuman hearing didn't hear him talk.)

"No....no...no....no!" He broke off, a sob finally spilling over. "No you can't...you can't help me...I can't be helped...nothing can fix me...nothing....I've lost everything..."

"You havent lost everything, you have us." She said cooly

"Wolfram you've killed what 5 people? We've been killing since we were pups. Or her being an adolescent at least. Being a cold blooded killer is what I was literally bred for"

"No...no....you aren't trustworthy. Not if you hurt me...no..."he hissed.

Toby's head snapped up when he heard his name. No. Don't you dare bring me into this. And how does she know I've been through stuff? She doesn't know me. And - oh my gosh they're having a who killed more people contest. Nope. Imma just nope outta here. Nope, nope, nope, I don't want any part of this, nope. Maybe Alice needs someone to talk to, or Alpha is getting lonely. Toby started walking away, trying not to draw too much attention to himself.
