Then he froze, hearing his sister's name... then his own. He struggled through the crowd until he was standing in front of the teacher's desk. "Uhm, I'm Peter. But my sis- Grace isn't in this class." He said, his voice coming out much quieter than he wanted it to.

Mr. Hanson frowned at him. "It's all the same to me." He growled. Then angrily waited for the rest to make their way over.

Jessi walked up to mr. Hansons desk. "Yeah? I'm Jessi." She said.

Toby jumped into the car, slamming the door behind him and glaring out the window. He pet Alpha's head distractedly.

He nodded to her and continued scowling.

River slowly turned to face the window, her face utterly. "Oh, you. Go away, little-birdie. I don't know why you would think I would trust you." She snapped, turning away from the chicken sitting in the windowsill of the car.

"I know when someone is lying, I picked it up from the streets. Besides, I got one for Bleddyn, too."

"Not happening! She's my niece." River snapped, following him, closing the door so hard that Frosty fell inside.

River kneeled beside Alice. "Hey, I'm sorry about in the cave, Alice."
Frosty sighed dramatically. "Just ignore me, then!" He called after her, then squawked in alarm as he lost his balance, his voice muffled as he fell face-first into the carpeted floor.

"Is… something wrong, sir?" Jessi asked.
Peter looked taken aback, and instantly started worrying that he'd said something wrong. Or, the teacher was just rude. Or...

"Alan? Oh, yes, I'm probably the only one." Frosty replied almost briskly, getting to his feet and attempting to dust himself off while still retaining some pride.

"Alice get up. Please. Are you hurt?" Wolfram murmured, head tilted slightly to the side. "Please tell me you're ok..."
"Have you ever wished you were a tree?" She asked her voice eerily calm.
River kneeled beside Alice. "Hey, I'm sorry about in the cave, Alice."

Alice lifted her face up off the ground looking River over, "Who's blood? What hap...." she stopped short, laying her face back down on the ground. She didnt want to know if they had killed Sherri's mom.

"What?" Wolfram asked quizzically. "I mean...I guess I never thought about...Alice, serious, please get up." He snatched her arms, pulling her up. "Are you hurt? Please tell me, Alice. Are you physically hurt?z,
