Frostbite? In Missouri? Obviously your coop isn't very insulated, because the only reason my Welsummer cockerel has frozen wattles is because he drinks out of the duck water and gets them wet.

Yeah, it wasn't. It's a great house for summer chicks, but not for winter. The boys are in a really nice one now. Home made, built the right way.

We have electricity in the coop. It is a huge bucket, probably 5 gallons, but I can't estimate liquid amounts. XD LET'S TALK MORE MATH! JK
