Thistle started to creep away and accidentally stepped on a twig. The twig broke with a loud crack, making Thistle sound larger than she actually was. She froze, afraid that the dog and the fox might decided to investigate.

Cora swerved quickly through the trees, flying low enough that the dog would think he(?) could jump high enough to catch her, when in reality he could only try.

Frostbite kept chasing after the bird in front of him, occasionally he would leap up to try and catch her.
