I’d want a more standard sized rooster for potential breeding and it would be housed with the other hensProbably d'uccles or seramas. Faverolles are also said to be quite docile.

Bantam roosters often can mate with larger hens. Maybe not seramas, though...I’d want a more standard sized rooster for potential breeding and it would be housed with the other hens

I'm making the second one my avy XD
Yup. I've had three hatch chicks independently. Zealand was the best one.All of mine do that too, except Parakeet. Only the good broodies act like you'd expect when they see a chick.![]()
Maybe not the prettiest, but my Buckeyes, both bantam and LF are the best roosters I've ever had. But mine are show quality, just saying, it might change something. I think he is pretty. And they are awesome for meat, too. What’s the best, friendliest, most attractive rooster?
My dark Brahma did good. He was bantam. Our Welsummer is fine, he might have the points on his comb endangered to frostbite. Ours is a little too wary of us to be friendly, but beautifulI was thinking maybe welsummer or light Brahma
Say one [standard sized or bigger] breed and I will add it to my order

Uh...you won't want one from a hatchery if you're planning to breed. In my experience, private breeders have the friendliest roos.Say one [standard sized or bigger] breed and I will add it to my order
