The context was not I dabbed the paper with the paintbrush. It was more a one word sentence. Like: Epic!

google had 3 ideas:
I'm assuming not a drug reference because... well that just seems unlikely to me.
is it a new way to say fist bump?
or is everyone putting their heads in the crook of their elbow to show that they think they're cool now?

I'm not entirely positive of what exactly it is, but on the occasion I do dab it's like a victory dance kinda thing.

I think I read somewhere it started as an American school thing for younger kids? They sneezed into the crook of their arms to slow the spread of germs?
Anyway, it got turned into a meme, and now it's just a joke. XD
