So, my grandpa just died yesterday, & so in a couple of days we'll have to fly to his funeral. I AM FREAKING OUT!!!! I really don't want to fly, I would rather drive two days in the car rather than 2 1/2 - 3 hours on the plane. I can't remember the last time I've felt this sick before, I really don't want to go I want to be there for my mom, but I would rather I stay home. This is the first time I remember going on a plane so I'm having an extreme panic attack.

Sorry for venting, I just needed to say that.

I'm sure I'm just making it a bigger deal than it already is, but I have nightmares of setting off the metal detector on accident. I've done that way too many times at the fair before, wearing I tiny metal clip in my hair.

The metal detector is scary. XD I'm not gonna pretend like it doesn't freak me out. But as long as you know you don't have a weapon or anything on you then there's nothing to worry about.
I actually lost my favorite knife at airport security.... ;-; I switched purses last minute.

Really? Have you flown before? I absolutely loved the helicopter ride I took. I guess airport terminals would be scary, but flying- ahh! It's like living a dream.
Sorry if I can't empathize, I really feel for you, losing your gramppa like that.

I've flown before, I was just way to young to remember it.
