So, my grandpa just died yesterday, & so in a couple of days we'll have to fly to his funeral. I AM FREAKING OUT!!!! I really don't want to fly, I would rather drive two days in the car rather than 2 1/2 - 3 hours on the plane. I can't remember the last time I've felt this sick before, I really don't want to go I want to be there for my mom, but I would rather I stay home. This is the first time I remember going on a plane so I'm having an extreme panic attack.

Sorry for venting, I just needed to say that.

So sorry to hear about your grampa. I like the feeling of take off. Dont worry about the metal detectors security personnel are pretty good natured... at least they are in Canada.

I've flown before, I was just way to young to remember it.

Sounds a lot different than a helicopter, actually. Lotsa people and scary machines. You don't have to go by yourself, at least.

The metal detector is scary. XD I'm not gonna pretend like it doesn't freak me out. But as long as you know you don't have a weapon or anything on you then there's nothing to worry about.
I actually lost my favorite knife at airport security.... ;-; I switched purses last minute.

My brother in law lost a really cool swiss army knife he had because he forgot it was in his bag they were so pissed off that he had brought it and didn't say it was there. He honestly didn't realize it was in his bag.
