And I is Chicken Obsessed!Im Overrun with Chickens!
I actually think normal chickens are softer, like d'Anvers, but I am biased.
My br’s are super soft and honey(bo) is more fluffy than soft but she is pretty soft
Yeah, some are softer than others.
and now im back home i cant go steal them off their roost in the middle of the night
of those 10 it looks like 2 might have some damage possible small amount of bleedingHow is it that I only just now realized that they were in your car?!Update on my eggies: i think im on day 5. 10 with veins and heart beat!!!of those 10 it looks like 2 might have some damage possible small amount of bleeding
2 likely dead - red specks on the yolk with no veins and 5 clear. I suspect one of the hens may not have been fertile because 3 of the clears are the same size and shape egg and there are no others that look the same.
Looks like it is possible to incubate in a car. Though i wouldnt recommend it.
How is it that I only just now realized that they were in your car?!
you've been busy.
needless to say it was difficult, stressful, and uncomfortable. but I think it worked out pretty well considering I took all of about 10 min. setting up a coolerbator which I had never done before and managed to keep most of the eggs alive.I would cut and burn myself, then load the makeshift bucket with so much water it would snap.COOL LIFE HACK THAT I JUST THOUGHT OF: if you want an easy, simple, cheap container/bucket that you can make in about a minute, then just cut off the top of a large soda bottle(empty of course) and run a lighter around the edges, it cleans them and melts it and smooths the edges. Then just heat up a nail or screw driver with the lighter and melt a few holes in the sides, then string a rope/string through them. You’ve got yourself a bucket!

Yup. We have like a million.I would cut and burn myself, then load the makeshift bucket with so much water it would snap.
This is why we have one bucket, and two+ spares. XD
