Oh no, stay safe.Tornado next to my town... might not be back gor awhile.
I feel your pain! After nearly 3 years of trying I've given up and accepted the fact he will turn into a raging tornado every time he hears a moo. Chickens don't bother him though! They used to but now that 15 of them roam the pasture and flap onto the fence, he doesn't care. But boy did my tom kitten Cinder mess up when he jumped onto Memphis' back and began CLAWING AND BITING HIM! Memphis took off galloping with that cat clinging for dear life, and Mem bucked and bucked until poor Cinder flew off, doing a complete flip and landing on his feet! ( they always do right? LOL) By the way, I've been riding since I was 6, and though I haven't had any lessons in 2 years, I want to start up again as soon as I have an arena of my own!!Oh man, that sounds familiar! I know some people seem to have luck with it but I have never taken a horse off the track that didn't lose. its. ever. loving. mind. when it came to cows. Every single one turns into a raging lunatic over cattle. The one I had before this was terrible. I keep telling myself that someday I'll pull one that doesn't bat an eye at cows, but it hasn't happened yet.
Memphis looks like a sweetie though, even if he is a bit loopy. Mine was a fruit loop today too. They just can't help themselves sometimes.![]()
I had to say Goodbye to my first and only horse. it was one of the saddest days of my life. i was 11(i think?) and i always wanted a horse, my neighbor wanted to sell a horse and when she heard about me she gave me him. i was the happiest girl alive! when i got him i could ride him and halter and saddle him! Life was great! then the problems came. after riding him a few tim he started to run away when i came in the pen, i was 11 and had only ridden a horse a couple times, so i got my Mom and Dad. after 3 hours we called over his owner and could finaly catch him both of my parents have owned horses and they could not catch him. we tried treats, running him in a round pen trying to get him to submit, petting him. he was really set on not being caught.....after that my parents said to work with him more, so very often i went out and worked with him. he only got worse, we started having my papa (a professional trained perrelli trainer come out and work with him. he was okay but the second he left he would revert to his ways. it got so bad that if i could catch him he would not let me control him. we tried every bit, no bit, bareback, saddled, western & dressage. he only got worse. he started o randomly gallop when i was riding. he would even rear, i cold barley stay on and the more i worked with him he only got (lets guess...) worse. it got to the point where he would not even let me pet him, this broke my heart because i loved him so much. he started to run away, he would brake the fence and run. it was hard enough tryin to catch him in his pen you couldn't imagine how many hours it took my family and our neighbors to catch him, this became a weekly occurance so we bought a better fence, it didn't work. then it became a 3 times weekly occourance, then a every day occourance pretty soon on average he was jumping the fence and getting out 5 times a day on average. i started working with him and pretty soon he was running twords me and trying to kick me in the head every time i came in his pen. i could ony sit there and cry... it is the worst feeling after being rejected by so many people to be rejected by your own horse. he actually wanted to hurt me... he succeded. he broke my heart, he became so dangerouse that our neighbor took him back (my parents asked her to) and sold him. That is my story, i hope yours is better than mine.I will always love you Grayson..I hope to get A TON OF HORSES when i get married!
Thank you God! ❤ It weakened and 'disappeared' right when It entered my town.Oj no, stay safe.
