➡ Quail Hatch Along🥚

Maybe someone here can steer me in the right direction. I'm not new to hatching or assisting during hatches but I'm new to hatching quail! I only set 5 eggs, of which 3 were fertilized, two hatched like clockwork and while I can hear tapping inside the 3rd egg and I believe tiny peeps, I don't see an external pip. It has been 24 hours since the other two hatched. Is it not advisable to assist quails in hatching? The egg is so tiny that I'm concerned about even attempting a safety hole which would actually make me feel a little better to know it's at least getting oxygen. Any opinions on the subject are welcome! Thank you!

This is a tough one.
I don't like to help any quail eggs because they usually die anyways.

i wouldn’t assist until you at least see an external pip.....once you see that, then it’s usually safe to “help” opening it up. I’ve assisted several that were just not able to zip correctly but I think in this case, the egg may need a little more time.

Ok! Thank you so much! Being new to quail I wasn't really sure what the acceptable timeframe was from internal pip to external pip. I think in my head I just assumed I had a shorter timeframe because the eggs are smaller, lol. It has been 24 hours since the other hatched and it's killing me staring at this one lonely egg. :th
