I'm trying really hard to wait.
It's only been about 5 hours now.
I just have a feeling he isn't going to get better.

I can not stand to wait...for anything.
I might die.

What's bothering me with this one dumb dumb is his leg is totally twisted.

I've seen them have curled toes and waddle around/rolling for the first day and be totally fine.

I didn't know enough to say that with mine, but on mine at least one leg was twisted and the neck couldn't straighten out. I probably still should have given it more time.

day 17 is upon us!! i just checked again and candled 1 egg....internal pip! looks like beginning of few external pips as well! will hopefully have some hatch by morning .............

I should have looked at him more closely... sooner.

I cut it off and rubbed all the dried gunky goo off of him.

This piece of extremely fine thread was wrapped around his little leg.

It's part of the umbilical cord.

Now I have to try and fix him.

Now that I've got him unwrapped let me wait an hour and see what happens.


The poor guy I feel horrible.
