I set my eggs...on the 7th? At 3pmish. Do I start lockdown on the 20th or 21st?

That sounds like a good idea!! I am not sure what the one I have is. I think I got it at TSC. I don’t think it was with the manure forks though. I think it was in the garden section? So maybe it is a compost fork or digging fork? Idk. I will try to get a pic of it sometime lol

This is my hipster dream digging fork(also called cultivating fork sometimes?). I've got a spade by the same company and it came soooo dull I'm going to take a bench grinder too it. But the steel is nice and thick it'll last forever.

21st will be day 14.....could wait until 22nd for day 15 to lockdown or split the difference between 14 and 15.....my big batch is due same time....app saying to lockdown thursday 22nd......will see if i can wait that long!

I locked down my recent hatch way early just to see...I didn't have any problems with them hatching because of it.

Here’s some pics. Not exactly sure which shovel it is but I think the yellow one. But same idea. This type at least.

Also, just to get back to quail, these would probably be much to big to use for cleaning quail cages lol unless I had a quail aviary maybe.
