I think it took him a good year to finally want to watch the first one.
I don't keep up with new movies so I was surprised yesterday when he told me the new one was out.
He wanted to go see it tonight but I refuse to do anything on a school night.

That makes sense! He’s still young right? I don’t even think I was allowed to watch those movies then

Pretty sure my brothers did anyway though and used to sneak into R movies haha

Stephen King wrote the book. I remember not really liking the mini-series, though. The Stand is also written by Stephen King, and the mini-series they did of that was pretty good.
