Out of the 10 myshire jumbo males, one was terrible. Scalped another male. Crowed loudly and continuously. Mated everyone. He went to solitary and worried the walls off the cage. Flighty, jumpy and aggressive.
The 3 males in with the females crow rarely. Candle tonight to see fertility for QB#7.
Is it possible this is a sex linked trait? The Lucky quail (QB#1&2) is giving white females and mostly wild type males. QB#3 had the 2 pied females with wild male. The A&M dot on the head and a large dot lower on the body. QB#5 female looks like an A&M. Waiting to confirm, but her brother is male with white slash on his breast. He makes 8 weeks next week and they aren't fighting. I know, proves nothing.
Just an observation that I thought was unique. White females and wild males.
22 babies poop too much.

I'm going to run out of paper towels quick this time.
