➡ Quail Hatch Along🥚

the odds go way down past 24 hours but could still hatch normally.....
It will sit there until it hatches or I call the end of all the hatching. So far I have the early pipper that pipped yesterday around this time, and one of the jumbos. Today is day 16, so the rest are pretty much on time so far.

can you see movement in early pipper? is it pipped on fat end? some of mine like that just cracked 1 big pip hole but were never strong enough to zip or couldn’t zip due to malposition.

I learned a couple of things from @Myshire Farm Quail live video tonight.

#1.
This little yellow with a little reddish color on it's back

Is called a Panda, not a Tux, since it has just a little color and more white.

Often my first pipped drives me nuts when it takes until halfway thru hatch to zip. :hugs theyre almost never the first chick to hatch.

The pip is near the middle of the egg, not at the fat end, so it's probably not in good position. I haven't seen any movement.
