I thought these were make over before and after shots. Then you post the same before pictures and say he is your favorite. I'm guessing you didn't eat him? Or he is your favorite since you ate him?

I'm so confused. Must be Monday.

Mex is cooking some quail and rabbit right now.
Not my new favorite.

I have a question - how possible is it to keep two males, no females in a cage together?

I say it's not possible.

Do you have light on them? May be the seasonal slow down. I took the lights off mine because the dogs "needed" their heat lamp back. It got down to the 50s. Then the hens laid an egg yesterday. I collected 11 eggs out of 12 layers. Explain this to me.

I'm done hatching this year. It's all good. Unless I get chicken eggs. Then I'm done. Happy New Year!

I've put an LED light in there and I turn it on around 5 AM, then start it up again in the evening until about 9PM. It's been cold, but that hasn't slowed the one who is laying down.

I have ten together in a cage and I am 100 percent sure that at least half our boys.
I am expecting the fighting to begin any minute now.
They are officially 8 weeks old as of yesterday so I can butcher them but I had just haven't.

I'm hoping the dark and cold weather keeps the hormones at bay for a couple more weeks. I'm hoping.

But then, they were chasing each other and playing leap frog yesterday. Hoping may not be all that I'm doing.

The jail bird I just had to stop from murdering his friend...he just started crowing yesterday.
He has been with these 3 friends since day one.
They are from my pansy hatch and I don't even know how old they are right now.

I did get one egg a day for about a week a while back from this cage but then they all started molting and I have not gotten an egg since.
So I am sure there is at least one girl in this cage and I'm really thinking I have three boys and one girl.
