How many eggs did you end of getting? I hope you have a good hatch out.

I can't wait to see a huge batch of Silvers hatch out!!!
I'm excited about mine too, plus trying to figure out a grow out pen.

I might buy another one of these. It fits almost perfectly in half a garden bed, and if I put two next to each other it's a great way to introduce new birds into my breeding flock. They'll be able to spend time seeing but not touching before being put into the same pen.

I have one now with seven birds in it. It can probably hold 10-12 pretty comfortably. I also have a coop that's 6' x 2' with dirt boxes in there for my young birds. I should have enough space to keep the birds until it's time to "help" the extras.

those are inexpensive tool box organizers from harbor freight. if you don’t have harbor freight close by, may be able to find something similar at hardware store or amazon (or repurpose from the DH’s toolbox )

Oh, I'm the queen of repurposing! I'll look at Amazon, their shipping is fast.

I've got 1 of the pens finished for 1 group of 9, just gotta put the wire and door on the one on the right and it'll be ready too!!! Please don't pay too close attention to the lack of levelness of that pen on the right.
