Usually it depends on the deer this one I will grind the majority of it because he is old and tough

last year we did some steaks aged in butter, this year DH saved some round steak to try tenderizing in pineapple. he saves all the front shoulder meat for smoking to make hoagie sandwiches. we typically only get around 5-10# grind off the average deer.

I have lights on them they have plenty of space they hit 8 weeks yesterday I mean come on what’s the hold up you have everything you need let’s get this show on the road
I still have two chickens who are 8 months that haven't laid an egg! By the time they lay eggs, the chicks I just hatched will be laying!

:barnie. I'm still staring at pips.

When I take my turner out I usually have to bump the heat up a notch to get it back up to the right temp.

I took my turner out on Friday but did not do this bumping.
I didn't do it on purpose, just to see.

I'm thinking I've screwed things up...slowed things down. They are all still alive and moving.

They had better start zipping today.

I had to bump up my temperature when I took out the turner as well. I'm done incubating until January when I get fertile quail eggs. I need to get them set so they hatch on my birthday!
