OMG lolI think Delawares have silver don’t they? That can produce barred birds. Sex links. But I think they have to be paired with a red bird for it to work so
I'd have to ask someone who knows genetics... I don't know anything about genetics or breeding colors

Yeah me neither but I just know sometimes they use them for sex links I think. But not sure if it would work with black birds. Maybe the RSL carries a hidden gene or something being a cross??

I heard one of my roosters crowing this morning I haven’t heard them crow for a while high hopes here for eggs soon
