➡ Quail Hatch Along🥚

I am working on my chicken/duck flock first for butchering and laying. I don't want to rush into getting quail, I would rather learn about them for a couple years and then get them.
No, no. Jump right in head first like the rest of us. The scars only last a little while.

:lau

I got chickens 3 years ago this spring.

:oops:And.... that's why a month ago I had over 80 chickens (they were part rabbit:bun:jumpy). And somehow now I've got over 60 quailies (now I'm gonna hafta make a plan). I think it's all @Kiki fault, she makes everything look so easy. :hugs

I'm a jump right in kinda girl, and I learn best hands-on. I've done all my best learnin' from the "School of Hard Knocks".:celebrate

@Matieus27.....it seems my egg production keeps increasing as i take out extra males.....i’m back at almost 2 dozen per day. do you think too many males could be part of your problem??
Possibly but I only have one male crowing right now so I need to figure out what other males I have I have two males that im for sure keeping to breed.
