Yep, they are extremely curious!I'm so bored at work. I'd rather be home playing with chicks. They're funny. If I put my hand in the brooder they run away, but the moment I start tapping, they all come running to my fingers.
Putting cold eggs in the incubator can cause condensation in them. They should be warmed to at least room temperature before putting them in.They can warm in the bator.

Where in CA are you? I wasn't able to find any which is why I started ordering eggs, but I should have my egg handler's license soon. Mine are just starting to produce fertile eggs.anybody on the west coast of the US have a good source of CA quail hatching eggs they can recommend?

Ah. I raise coturnix quail.I'm in WA state, I'm looking specifically for California valley Quail. am looking for a small number for my daughter to hatch and raise.
