6 ounces is a good size. Figure almost 10 ounces live weight? I'm eating everything less than 10 ounces at 10 weeks. The largest males are in the 10 + ounce range.
We didn't even do live weights this time. ā˜¹ļø

QB#12
21 eggs set
18 hatched including 3 assists = 2 bad feet and 1 wry neck.
3 didn't hatch =
1 never pipped and late quitter.
1 pipped and died.
1 pipped and we opened, had intestines coming out so helped.
Vitamins in the water. Brooder nice and toasty.

Collecting for QB#13 and the hens are only laying 2 eggs a day again. Should have around 30, so we are good.

After set 1 lays and we collect, planning on sending them to the freezer. The hatchlings will be set 1 replacements for layers. They are about a year old. Aggravating that I'm not getting all 4 hens laying the replacements. Getting a few.

Then when Set 3 starts laying, will collect and set for a rooster for Set1. So exciting.
