1. No glass to get broken.
2. Bear aeration in a open wire cage.
I suggest looking up how to hold finches and using such a technique when moving or handling them. Also, get a net and keep it close at hand. I have found mine to be invaluable.Faker quail are nuts.
They are very very different than real quail.

Buggy eye didn't look like it was suffering, but it certainly wasn't thriving. It was sleeping far more than the other chicks and not getting to the food and water. I took care of it.I had a chick like this. It was good for a week then went down hill.

I bought 5 nets the other day.I suggest looking up how to hold finches and using such a technique when moving or handling them. Also, get a net and keep it close at hand. I have found mine to be invaluable.
