Just getting started with 2 watermelon margaritas and some beer from the tap pulled out the oil and in the lounge chair waiting for a stupid cloud to pass!!!!

Sounds nice!!! I don’t usually drink but I might consider trying that watermelon one.

my new “routine” is to keep in the brooder until 3-4 weeks depending on breed and weather and then move them in with the buttons for 1-2 weeks. That gives a look/no touch situation prior to integration. It has worked with the quail and ducks so far. I’ve determined that Gimpy is not the typical male pheasant as he is the one that has escaped multiple times and returned every time. the last 2x he never left the yard. now he has basically become “guardian” of the flock. i’ve been a bit surprised that even though I only have the 1 hen, she is not “overbred” and i haven’t witnessed him “molesting” the quail or ducks since he’s matured.

It’s been too funny watching the quail “cuddle” with the pheasants while dust bathing and the budgies and finches trying to “free” the button chicks from their cage!!!!

Here some pics from the deck.....just started karaoke......not happy with the current sound system tonight but DH is looking into upgrades and the birds seem to be enjoying it!! But can anyone tell me how to get ducks to like water???? We put the pool back out today and they act like it’s acid!!!!

The watermelon is ok....kinda tastes like a jolly rancher.....but dh decided after first one to switch to regular and then we both switched to beer I have more to choose from but he hasn’t asked for it yet

nice!! I like jolly ranchers so maybe I’d like it. I made tea a little while ago but I haven’t even drank it yet besides like two sips I have to reheat it now haha and I was gonna have a little tiny bit of Coke and I’ve had to get new ice like 4 times cause it melts before I pour it I keep getting distracted and going outside haha it’s so nice out. I was outside a ton today.

My “pool” plants new flowering climber and the blueberry bush that has now been transplanted 3x hahaha because the birds stripped it and then I wanted it in a different spot

Oh wow!!! I gotta go find my blueberry plants. We planted 3 last year but they were more like twigs not sure they’re even still there haha

My brother has a big potted one on the deck and last year one of the dogs ate all the blueberries off it she would even eat the buds before they turned into blueberries haha so this year I think it’s not doing as hot

I wouldn’t say heavily hahaha! It’s 10:30 here and I’m still able to type with coherency and we doing karaoke with “neighbors requests”
