So I wanna say the starting hatch number right now is 7/10 but I'm sure I'll lose a few more as it goes, let's hope I have goodluck and at least get a trio! There were 12 eggs originally but one was crushed and the other has a teeny shell crack so I'm not betting in it even though it's not punctured fully.

@Kiki technically just hit day 3 this afternoon so...but my automatic Turner stopped working so now I have to manually turn them (is there a way to rig them in a chicken egg Turner? Cause my chicken one works, just my quail that's stopped I figured they're like pigeon eggs were you probably should candle more than thrice, so I'm gonna wait till day 9 and then again on day 16 before hatching.

You can use a chicken egg tray.

Nope. It is late for them, but when you poke at them a lot you become normal to them. I've scooped them up (still in the brooder) and just let them sit in my hand and leave when they want to.
