yes they are all actually really close....i grew up halfway between louisville and lexington (which is also within 2hours of where i live now) but of course all these “cities” are just small towns compared to the larger cities in the country like NYC, LA, SF etc.......
Oh wow that’s awesome!! I had no idea they were all so close together!!! Haha  and that’s true!!! But then Boston is just a small town too. :lau seems Boston is pretty comparable in size to Louisville??? At least in terms of population from looking it up aha and Boston seems pretty big to me. I still haven’t seen every single part. I actually prefer the smaller/more mid size cities to the big huge ones. They’ve got more personality/charm plus I get lost in big ones. :lau get lost enough in Boston LOL
I went to Louisville Kentucky when I went to Columbus. Then we stayed in Lexington Kentucky
Sounds fun!!!

if you drove from VA, you passed right through my “stomping grounds” including where i live now! home area is Waddy/Peytona or graefenburg exits off i-64 (exit #43,48) i worked with my dad in Versailles ky (home of many horse farms and the “castle”) i graduated from shelby co high school even though our home was on franklin co line (frankfort capital of ky)
and my current home is right off i65 (exit 0 just past louisville)....my ds is graduating from purdue new albany campus but originally got accepted into columbus campus! 🤣

i’ve found that many cities are not as big as they seem! i’ve never been to boston....but i’ve lived near orlando which is another “small town” city

Nice. I didn’t really enjoy the ride because it was a lot of mountains or hills. I really loved Lexington. Especially once I found really good restaurants and cafes. We took a lot of pics but I was 40 lbs heavier so I don’t look back at them 😂

while i haven’t traveled as much as some, my geography skills are sharper because my dad worked nearly 50 years for what was originally Rand McNally......growing up, having and using a road atlas was 2nd nature to me!!

Yeah the drive from Lexington to VA was brutal. I wanted to drink heavily because people were driving like lunatics. I am used to flat land unless I drive to the mountains. I didnt expect it to be like that. I am sure I will handle it better next time now that I am prepared.
