@Nabiki If I may ask a business question, when taking orders for quail hatching, do you charge full amount per egg or other? I'm faced with a situation.

In other news, QB#16 started with a bunch of eggs I had laying around. 55 to be exact. I'd like to think Santa and an ominous benefactor for a quail rail. The answer is a Little Giant rail can be adapted to a Hovabator turner with a bit of careful filing. Watching for hang ups.

There is a market for quail.

i’m really liking the red mulch we put down yesterday!! we couldn’t turn the base because of the rain/flooding and we couldn’t put down straw around the snowball bush because RK didn’t have any in stock! but there has definitely been an improvement in smell!! as well as we can now walk through without sinking in mud and !!

Wood chips rock! I get mine from the county yard waste shredder for the cost of my labor to load and drag home. Good workout.

Agree, smell and muck factor decreases.

Tiny has figured out water! Apparently dipping his beak wasn't enough, had to lean over and pretend to 'drink' from the waterer(aka I splashed it repeatedly w/ my finger) till he waddled over and finally tested it out himself he seems to understand eating but I may mash his food up more tommorrow to assure it's small enough/prevent waste.

i brought my poor little lone male button back inside to the brooder today, away from the big bad and totally vicious button adults in the aviary!!! he is sooooo much happier now cuddling with the brooder mates! he was so calm while bringing him in!! I cuddled and carried him while finishing up in the aviary and then handed him off to DH where he gladly stayed calm while stopping to feed the fishies!!!

Tiny number one has settled down and stop screaming when I leave him alone now, he seems to be willing to eat but less than willing to drink, also thought I heard tapping from the Bator, may get another pip by tommorrow evening!

Don't worry too much about good and drink today. He's ok.

I have no idea what this tiny thing was housing but I'm glad to see they decided to throw it away. Hopefully they bought a bigger house for their thing.
