➡ Quail Hatch Along🥚

As far as I know, higher protein makes them more aggressive, especially males.

When I feed too much mealworms, mine are also getting more aggressive, ... but I think in my case it is more envy and greed
Okay thanks for the heads uo. I was just thinking maybe they weren't getting enough at that's why they were attacking each other

I never posted the pictures of the fresh batch earlier. They love it all come RUNNING when I put it down lmao and I’m gonna change the paper towels in the morning don’t worry ;)

Yeah, she's doing okay but I might see if someone wants her as a pwt. I know they're technically social creatures, but I have a few that seem just fine living by themselves that I might just give to people I know want one.

On the bright side, I've got 11 babies so far and still a few rockers

You give me hope. My quail Number Three is currently living alone in my bedroom. She attacked every single one of the other hens, causing mayhem. Now that she has her own home, she is much calmer and stopped screaming. I might keep her inside by herself. She is two years old and I don't know if I ever want to integrate her again. She seems fine.
