➡ Quail Hatch Along🥚

:lau:lau:lau

So I went to check the girls before work. One has bald patches down to the skin in 4 spots. No bruising. Poor girl looks rough. Feathers everywhere. I never knew they would drop that many that fast.

Molting. I'm happy to get one egg a day now.

So, if Kiki killed all the boys, we may have a long wait for eggs. :smack

I set non fertile eggs for real this time?

Kiki this is why they recommend not to set pullet eggs, higher likelihood of not being fertile. The eggs should definitely show some development by now. I would wait until more of your birds are laying and then set.

Morning Kiki, any updates?
I just got home and I opened every one of my ghetto eggs.

Trust me I fussed at Mr. M this morning as soon as he walked in the door.
It is now all his fault.

I didn't see any fertile eggs. #12 might have been too hard to see in the pic. Could see the white dot but no ring, or bullseye.
#12 was the only one that might have been...the rest were not.

Good luck!

I was hatching day (17, started at day 0) yesterday for us, nothing. Zero. Today I saw some progress - a couple chicks have pipped but nothing more. Fingers crossed...
How do the eggs look? Are they all developed?
