➡ Quail Hatch Along🥚

I didn't buy these eggs. I won them some how from Mr. Myshire. He sent me 30 eggs.
19 ended up starting to develop. 1 quit really early on.
I don't think many more will hatch because I might have screwed things up today on accident. I don't really know what's going to happen now.
I was reading that some people still get hatches even with power going out for 24 hours. Maybe you've got some tough ones left

Yes, but I've never seen people hatch eggs that are sitting in water.

I had quite a few with really screwed up membranes/detached which I didn't have high hopes for either.

I have videos and pictures of all of this in my other thread. It's only 13 pages long. You can read from the beginning and you'll understand more of what I'm saying now...I think.

My hatch day isn't even until tomorrow so we shall see what happens. It's not over yet.
I wont pull on the umbilical cord! But should I leave my chicks in the bator or take them out when #2 is dry?
I have read most of your thread but I was just trying to be positive

I moved my 4 hatched dummies to the brooder.
Are you sure there is no way for the two to get stuck in your brooder...stuck away from the heat source? Are you sure it's not too hot or too cold in the brooder?

I would probably just leave them in the incubator overnight.

The one had been in there since it dried 3/4s of the way and I didn't notice any problems other than refusing to drink water. It ate a good bit, screamed a ton and napped.

I woke it up a few times scared it was dead but it was just sound asleep, it's breathing was pretty consistent and wasn't showing signs of overheating or shivering

Last post for the evening, hope these turds aren't giving the other chicks brain damage from bopping them around. This is becoming more enjoyable than I anticipated
