I think I'd turn it off during the day and then back on for night....maybe.Thank you very much idk how to feather sex so I'm waiting to vent sex at 6 weeks. I'm no good at that either haha.
And if my nighttime lows are in the 40s do they need a light at 3 weeks old?
Theyre out in our garage right now and it gets cool at night and doesn't heat up too much on a sunny day. It stays in the high 50s to low 60s.I think I'd turn it off during the day and then back on for night....maybe.
Yes. I think they will do the panting thing if too hot.Theyre out in our garage right now and it gets cool at night and doesn't heat up too much on a sunny day. It stays in the high 50s to low 60s.
Will chicks do the "panting" thing if it's too warm?
Thanks for the male quail examples! That helps a lot
I've never seen mine do it once! Their bird shack is shaded during the heat of the day and has a ton of ventilation so I guess they have it good.Yes. I think they will do the panting thing if too hot.
All my birds do it pretty much all summer long.
