once current hatch is complete, I should have enough color variety to make my little heart happy and to hopefully be able to hatch some pretty neat birds from my own stock. so if I do any more hatching of shipped eggs this year, I will probably go with jumbos and/or sex link to focus more on the meat yield.

You've ordered mostly from Myshire, right? I think they have a large and smart operation but it would be good to get some variance. Get some JMF/Stellar/KC jumbos next and you can start working on size with those colors for the rest of us You'll have the premiere fancy BBQ birds

my original 7 are pharaoh that I ordered from purely poultry....4 roos/3 hens....now 14 weeks. My first myshire batch is almost 8 weeks so when everyone finally starts laying I should have a pretty good genetic mix to start! definitely going to be checking out those other sources though!!
