I have a dozen to butcher within the month. So much tiny death Hubby sharpened the shears for me yesterday. Le sigh.

I wish someone had told me you get that same "what could I have done to make their short moments better?!" regret you get when putting a pet down.

The dog that passed in September had an allergy to chicken and beef. He was fine on lamb. I paid fifteen dollars a month on his food, and he weighed eight pounds. Maaco is a 35 pound dog, and costs about eight dollars a month (plus sixty dollars for the brassiere he just ate). Guess which dog I like?
