Don't you know you should never stare an animal in the eyes....freaks them out...that's what predators do! horses are bad about it, too! Almost ever wild animal is that way.

Oh I know! But I'm trying to feather sex the little buggers and they won't stay still As soon as I turn sideways they stop.

Also, I do find their hopping entertaining occasionally.
