Yeah, it took 4 days. The little foamies were inside the second box on top of the solid layer of foam covering the egg foam if that makes sense. It is just the punched out pieces from the egg holes I think. Good stuffing tho.

Yeah, I would have thought it would be two days. They created the label on Monday... but didn't show up in the system with a delivery date till Tues and it said Thursday.

I got my last quail eggs from Purely Poultry, just standard coturnix and I had a 80% hatch on shipped eggs. It will be interesting to see how these do.

Maybe they just get everything ready to go on Mondays but don't really send them off til Tuesday.

Mine are supposed to be mailed on Monday. Hopefully it doesn’t take 4 days. That does seem like a long time. My shipping was almost $40 I believe. But I guess if they have an excellent hatch rate it’s worth it.

a guy just posted that he had too many eggs shipped for size of his bator.....he held extras for 21 days before setting and wasn’t expecting much but still got an awesome hatch rate!! another person had an issue with shipping where eggs got delayed over weekend and zack personally guaranteed 60% hatch for him. they typically go above and beyond to make sure you are happy!!
when i contacted him about extra eggs and this order had already shipped, he offered free shipping on more Tuesday but I decided to wait and see what goes up in auction this weekend. that and i’m still considering jumbos and chukar from kcquail for may hatch. i’m not overly concerned about delay in the sense of screwing up my hatch but more because I want to set on Saturday (to coordinate with chicken eggs) and may be going out of town for a few days next week.
